(Hotel / Lunch) Lunch at the restaurant. 06:00pm. Pick up from the hotel. Travel to Chiang Mai Night Safari which situated about 12 kilometers outside of Chiang Mai city, Chiang Mai Night Safari is one of the most popular places for wildlife tour in the north region and it is the habitat of many species of animals. There are trams and other equipment to give to service the tourists in Chiang Mai Night Safari for watching wildlife at night and safe for you. It will be the exciting experience for you in seeing the predator animals like a lion, a tiger and other nocturnal animals in the natural environment. DAY 02 Fresh Local Market / Cooking Class / Bor Sang Umbrella village (Hotel / Breakfast / Lunch) Breakfast at the hotel. 08:00 Pick up from the hotel. Travel to the local fresh market to select and buy several ingredients for each type of Thai food which will be taught today. The teacher will explain about the ingredients of each Thai food and all their benefits together with the way to buy. After enjoying walking at the market and shopping various ingredients, then continue going towards to Thai cooking school. Prepare all the ingredients and start cooking by using each own equipment and stove, the teacher will control and supervise cooking class at all time. When finished, tourists will eat and share the foods that get to learn and cook together. In the afternoon travel to visit Umbrella village, it is the famous village for making umbrella for a long time. It is also the biggest source of handmade umbrella in the nation. There are 3 types of handmade umbrella produced in this village, which are made of satin, cotton, and mulberry paper. There are beautiful noticeable colors and designs until receiving great popularity from both foreigners and Thais. The tourists can visit and see all the traditional umbrella production process in every step including mulberry paper making, paper blowing, paper lantern making, and drawing patterns in beautiful colors. Moreover, the tourists can still learn and try to draw a picture on the umbrella, the paper fan, and the paper lantern according to your own imagination, too. Stay overnight in Chiang Mai. DAY 03 Chiang Mai – Pai: Baan Chang Elephant park Sanctuary (No Riding) / Pai Walking Street (Hotel / Breakfast / Lunch) Breakfast at the hotel. 08:00am. Pick up from the hotel. Departure from Chiang Mai for the "dream destinations" Mae Hong Son Province. By driving heading north to Mae Taeng district, to visit the Baan Chang Elephant park Sanctuary. On the way you will enjoy spectacular scenery of forest, mountains and cultivation areas of various plants of local farmers in Chiang Mai Province. Arriving Baan Chang Elephant Park, tourists will change clothes with traditional mahout costumes. The officer at Elephant Park will distribute elephant food such as plants and fruits to tourists to prepare for feeding elephants. A tourist guide and mahouts will tell histories of Thai elephants, how to communicate with elephants, how to raise elephants, how to get prepared for feeding elephants. The tourists can enjoy playing with elephants and taking photos with them. They can talk, greet, respond and learn natural habits and behaviors of elephants. They also learn how to observe emotions of elephants, walk along with elephants to mud pit, do mud spa and bathing for elephants. Lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, continue driving along the World War II, Historical road to Pai district, passing numerous sharp curves up and Down the hill to get impressive of the beautiful mountains and views. Explore the ways of life and to go round the lively walking street, you can walk along street and buy handmade products, clothes, fret works, basket works and several souvenirs. Also, there are many Thai food restaurants and international restaurant that you can come and test it. The walking street will be available for walker from 5 PM until midnight. Stay overnight in Pai. DAY 04 Pai – Mae Hong Son: Doi Kiew Lom Viewpoint / Tham Lod Cave / Lahu Hill Tribe Village (Hotel / Breakfast / Lunch) Breakfast at the hotel. 08:00 Pick up from the hotel. Visit Doi Kiew Lom Viewpoint this viewpoint is well-known among Thai and foreign visitors who come here to see a spectacular sea of mist collects in the valley as well as various types of colorful flowers. Continue to visit Tham Lod Cave to see one of the most important archaeology place which has a stream known as “Laang” flows through from one end to the another end of the cave. Consequently, it creates a wonderful cave which has a lot of stalactite and stalagmites; moreover, you can see and touch with a great variety of the early ages antique tools and utensils which have been presumed to be over 2,000 years already. DAY 05 Mae Hong Son – Chiang Mai: Doi Inthanon National Park / Royal Pagodas / Royal Project / Vachiratharn Waterfall (Hotel / Breakfast / Lunch) Breakfast at the hotel. 08:00 Pick up from the hotel. Depart from Mae Hong Son by driving heading South to Mae Chaem district passing numerous sharp curves up and down the hill to get impressive of the beautiful mountains and views. Visit Doi Inthanon, which is the highest peak of Thailand with an altitude of 2,565 meters above sea level. Doi Inthanon is a part of Thanon Thongchai Mountain range stretching from the Himalayas which has a length across many countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar with diversity and abundance of the climate and forest. Tourists can touch with rain forest, pine forest, mixed forest from the different height and at the peak the tourists will enjoy with beautiful panorama scenery. Because of cool weather all year round, beautiful scenery and abundance of the forest are all the charm to attract people all over the world to pour to visit here uninterrupted. Visit Twin Royal Pagodas, Napamethanidol and Napapolpumisiri, which located on the top of high hill in Doi Inthanon National Park. These two pagodas have beautiful magnificent architecture and landscape. Napamethanidol and Napapolpumisiri, are the pagodas that created by The Air force works with Thai people throughout Thailand for the 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King Rama 9 in the year of 1987 and also to honor the Queen Sirikit in the auspicious period of the 5th anniversary on her birthday 12 August 1992. The area around these pagodas is decorated beautifully with Winter Flower Garden and variety of plants in cold period this area is very cold. It is a viewpoint and one of the most beautiful points for admiring the sea of mist in Chiang Mai. Lunch at the restaurant. Visit Vachirathan Waterfall which is a large waterfall with a lot of water falling. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand that has water throughout the year. The waterfall is in Doi Inthanon National Park area, Chiang Mai Province, it is a distinctive, beautiful with high valley waterfall, which has only one layer. The above water flows down into the basin below with the height of the waterfall up to70 meters. During high water, water droplets splash over the area and exposed to the sun causing rainbow to occur often here at Vachirathan waterfall. It is a wonderful phenomenon that created this waterfall to be much more beautiful. Visit Royal Project.
