It can be a powerful strategy to introduce and popularize the offered product or service. Moreover, such a strategy can be learned and done easily with the suitable knowledge. However, only as small number of creative industries in Sukoharjo Regency has applied this marketing strategy. The actors in creative industries still use simple methods, such as verbal marketing, direct selling to the market and direct order from customers who come to the production site. Such methods make the products and services are only used by people around Sukoharjo. Limitations of the marketing area result in less optimal revenue. To solve some problems in the creative industries in Sukoharjo, the trainings on how to expand the marketing area through Internet or online, and the trainings of online advertising in the form of videography are required. Videography will provide the information about the offered products or services for the customer or prospect customers. The training was conducted in one of the creative industrial centre in Sukoharjo.

Gamelan is an Indonesian orchestra composed mainly of tuned percussion instruments such as bamboo xylophones, wooden or metal chimes, and gongs. This reserach consisting of life attitude, work ethos, and skill of craftspeople in creation of Javanese gamelan. Cultural reproduction practice occurs in family, school/art institute/home industry environment and gamelan industry center community. This study employed naturalistic inquiry, describing the cultural reproduction of Javanese gamelan Creation naturally; the informants of research consisted of Empu (master craftsman) who produces gamelan, gamelan craftspeople, Javanese gamelan art figure, and Javanese gamelan users. The result of research revealed that life attitudes the Empu and the gamelan craftspeople had were: awareness of giving service to God, faith in God, being loyal to their job, submitting to the fate with gratitude, never being desperate, and having noble character. The work ethos of Empu and craftspeople included: hard work, high togetherness, carefulness, tolerance, high sense of belonging to the job, and mutual help. Meanwhile, gamelan creation skill included: membesot, menyingi, menempa, membabar, and melaras. Life attitude, work ethos, and skill of gamelan creation occurred through parents’ socialization from one generation to the next or from Empu to craftspeople in home industry.

The results of this study indicated that people who were visitors to the districts in the city of Salatiga had a moderate view of service quality. This was because the quality of sub- district services in Salatiga had not been maximized.

Therefore, it can be said that Hindu did not only develop in Bali, but also in Central Java, in which the development of Hindu for the beginning already took place indeed in the 7th to 8th in the context of Hindu Mataram namely in the era of king Sanjaya.

However, the theory has rarely been used to explain the interaction between regions in city border area, especially in the cases in Indonesia. This article discusses the case of cross-border service of water supply of the Local Water Company (PDAM-Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum) of Surakarta City into the urban border area of Sukoharjo Regency, based on collaborative planning theory. This article is written based on results of the research on the case using case study research method. The discussion concludes that the approach of collaborative planning theory used on the case is cooperative-accommodation approach. It is because PDAM of Surakarta City accommodate the cross-border region service as a reciprocal policy, as most of their water inputs come from their neighboring regions. In general, such an approach is in accordance with the need of the interacting regions, which one region needs supporting service to meet the need of their communities in water service, and another can fulfill the need based on its capacity. In this case, the concerned technical agencies, PDAM of every region interact each other directly in providing the service.

The study used case studies method, and data were collected through observation, interviews, discussion and documentation. The study location took place in health clinic and herbal tourism, Kalibakung Village, Balapulang District, Tegal Regency, Central Java Province. The results showed that the raw materials of herbal plants to make herbal medicine in health clinics was still depend on the Center for the Development of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicines in Tawangmangu Regency. Plant galleries in herbal tourism are still pilot project only, it have not been developed to become self-sufficient of health clinics. Community groups need to be involved as partners to supplying raw materials of health clinics and herbal tourism develop with empowerment programs.
