Updated: 9.10.17 Suggested Itinerary*

Tuesday, May 22nd: Depart from Memphis airport early morning (we have 5:15am/6:00am flights) and arrive in NYC around 11:00/11:30am. Transfer to hotel, eat lunch, walk around Midtown with tour guides. Group dinner followed by Top of the Rock observatory for a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline.

Wednesday, May 23rd: Get up early to visit the sets of Good Morning America or the Today Show. Students will have a 4 hour rehearsal in either the morning or afternoon. Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial, and other sight-seeing possibilities will take place with a tour guide when not rehearsing. Enjoy a group dinner together in Chinatown or Little Italy.

Thursday, May 24th: Students will have a 4 hour rehearsal in either the morning or afternoon. Visit , , , St. Patrick’s Cathedral, etc. with a tour guide when not rehearsing. Enjoy a group dinner together and then go to a Broadway show.

Friday, May 25th: Dress rehearsal and concert will dictate the course of the day, but we will have some down time to explore/shop near the hotel or do some other low key sight-seeing. Concert is at 8:00 pm with post-concert reception to follow for Performers, Directors, and VIP Patrons.

Saturday, May 26th: A majority of our seats are on flights that leave NYC at 5:10/6:10pm and return to Memphis at 11:15pm. (Depending on how many reserve air with our group, there are some seats reserved that depart at 11:20am and return at 3:36pm). We will arrange some free sight-seeing activities as time permits before transferring to airport.

*This is a very general idea of what we will be doing on the trip. There will surely be changes in the order of sight-seeing events to make the schedule work best for the group after we get our rehearsal schedule from DCINY.
