ABOUT THE SHOW

It’s 2011. Arkansas. Old wounds reignited. Tensions mount. Mount. A family battles their different truths.

In the heat of the summer the Lafayette family reunites to manage the sale of their late father’s plantation home. Full of years of accumulated junk the house speaks of buried memories, ghosts of what has gone before. In this fast-paced play, everything they believed about themselves is thrown into chaos when the past brutally collides with the present, revealing a secret legacy that challenges them to question who they really are.

The theatre is now run as a Receiving House, allowing Professional, Amateur, Schools and Colleges, a central London, venue to present their productions. Additionally, since 2005, we are home to Lunchbox Theatre, a bite sized slot where local City workers can bring their own food and drink and enjoy a forty five minute theatrical performance, For further details on forthcoming productions see www.sbf.org.uk or call 020 7353 3331.
