Secretary – Brothers Rugby Club 5 BROTHERS RUGBY CLUB ANNUAL REPORT 2018 PRESIDENT’S REPORT It is with a sense of satisfaction that I provide on behalf of the Board and management, this Annual Report sharing with you our activities and successes in 2018. Our many achievements have been made possible by our selfless and hardworking players, volunteers, Board and staff, and the ongoing and generous support and goodwill of our members, sponsors, business partners and our local community. It has now been three years since the merger of the Junior and Senior Clubs and we have continued to take on the challenges that continue to present themselves across a myriad of areas. One of the first tasks of the 2018 Board was to review our Club Five Year Strategic Plan to ensure that our recent achievements were consolidated and built on and ensure that the plan for 2018-2022 remained relevant and achievable given the inevitable changes that come with time. Your Board is keenly focused on our ‘Vision’ to make our club Australia’s leading community rugby club. With our revised Strategic Plan containing the Three Pillars for Success; Community, Sporting and Economic - we have focused on building a business plan which will enable our team to implement all of the various elements that have been identified under the Three Pillars, while continuing to follow sound operational and governance practices, that we are confident will deliver our Club’s long-term sustainability.
