Towson University Honors College Spring 2021 Graduate Bios and Acknowledgements

Graduates from each class are asked to write a personal bio and are given the opportunity to acknowledge anyone they wish to recognize. Below are the bios from the TU Honors College class of spring 2021.

Bailey Adams Bailey Adams is from Myersville, and will graduate with Honors, earning her a degree in law and American civilization with a minor in political science. After graduating, Bailey will take a year off to continue building experience in the legal world, before heading into law school. During her time at Towson she was a member of sorority, where she often raised money for their philanthropy: breast cancer education and awareness, along with serving on recruitment committee. She wants to thank her mom and dad for making it possible for her to attend and for always encouraging her. She also wants to thank her younger sisters, friends, and the Honors college staff at Towson, who have always shown tremendous support. Christine Adams Christine Adams, from Mount Laurel New Jersey, will graduate with Honors earning a computer science degree-cyber operation track with a mathematics minor. Christine has served as an Honors College Orientation Mentor, Honors College Recruitment Counselor, was a member of the Honors College Leadership Council, and a recipient of the Honors College Study abroad scholarship which she used for her study abroad experience in London, England. Additionally, Christine has served as a resident assistant (RA) and as a Math tutor for Towson’s Tutoring and Learning center for three years and received the Mathematics Department Scholarship as well as many computer science scholarships. Christine is a member of the sorority, the Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for the computing and information disciplines and the Order of Omega Greek Honors Society. Christine currently works part time for Textron Systems as a software engineer, and after graduation, plans to start her full time job at Lockheed Martin as a software engineer. Christine would like to thank her friends she has met in the Honors College and her family for being an amazing support system. Holly Adelhardt Holly Adelhardt, from Berlin, Maryland, will graduate with honors, earning her B.S. in theatre arts. During her time at Towson, Holly designed two shows for the theatre department and participated in the international theatre and design conference in Prague. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in scenic design and construction. Holly would like to thank her professors, family, and friends for supporting her throughout her college experience. Adam Atkins Adam Atkins is a Crisfield, Maryland native and will graduate with honors, earning his degree in computer science with a track in cyber operations. Following graduation, Adam plans to work for the national government holding a position in cyber operations. What he loved most about being in the honors program was the opportunity to become connected with many advisors and mentors that helped him further his skills in the cyber security field. He was a recipient of the National Science Foundation CyberCorps Scholarship for Service. Adam worked as a Resident Assistant in Carroll Hall and held a position as the Membership team leader for the Presidential Ambassadors. Adam showed school spirit by playing in the Towson University Pep Band and enjoyed attending marching band events to support his peers in the ensemble. He would like to thank his father for the endless support he provided, and his siblings and friends for always being a source of motivation. Lastly, he would like to thank his mentors that have taught him so much. He could not have done it without the support of these amazing people. Zainab Badejo Zainab Badejo is a first-generation Nigerian Immigrant and Maryland resident. She will graduate with Honors, earning her Bachelor of Arts in molecular biology with minors in international studies and Chinese. After graduation, Zainab plans to attend medical school and work towards becoming a medical doctor and genetic researcher. She will also continue her work with the Emerging Leaders in Biotechnology program which connects college and high school women to provide them with skills, knowledge, and support to pursue careers in STEM. Zainab enjoyed presenting at the Honors College Celebration of Scholarship and Learning and enjoyed being a part of the supportive Honors community. She feels grateful for the invaluable memories and friendships she experienced and would like to thank God, her family, her mentor Dr. Elana Ehrlich, and all the staff at the Honors College. Nenette Bah Nenette grew up in Montgomery County, MD and moved to Frederick County, MD in the 8th grade. From there, Nenette went to Governor Thomas Johnson High School where she graduated my last year with a 4.0. When she came to Towson, she became a member of the Women’s Club Basketball team, a mentor in the African Diaspora Club’s Kama Moja and the captain of the Black Student Union’s Rhythm Step team. Nenette was also able to work as a community center assistant in Douglass House for a year before being granted the opportunity to become a resident assistant in Towson Run Apartments. Nenette has been grateful to be able to have received dean’s list every semester since freshman year and now she is going to graduate honors with a biology major and Spanish minor. After graduation, she plans to take a gap year to gain personal and professional experience before applying to a physician assistant program in the fall of 2022.

Clara Blitz Clara Blitz is from Sykesville, Maryland, and will graduate from the Honors College with a degree in business administration: project management. She thoroughly enjoyed her classes with fellow Honors students and the classes that challenged her academically. She also loved her experience as a CCA, CCM, and Building Council Treasurer for Douglass House. The community and staff there mean a lot to her and she wishes them the best of luck. After graduation, Clara is looking forward to her position as Executive Intern at Target this summer and has already begun her graduate studies through an expedited M.S. /B.S. program. She aims to graduate in the spring of 2022 with a Master of Science in supply chain management from Towson University. Clara would like to thank her family for supporting her college career and all her friends at Towson that helped and encouraged her throughout her time at Towson. Savannah Blythe Savannah Blythe is from Harford County, and will graduate with honors, earning her B.S. in psychology. After graduation, she will attend graduate school in the fall at Towson University in the clinical psychology M.S. Program. She was also a part of the undergraduate clinical psychology program. Savannah interned at Kennedy Krieger and did her service-learning at the Hussmann Center for Adults with Autism. Savannah earned her associates degree before transferring to Towson University, and was very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Honors College at TU during her undergraduate experience. She would like to thank her mom and dad, who she loves very much, for their endless support and encouragement throughout her college career. Cecelia Bosche Cecelia Bosche from Thurmont, Maryland. She graduates with honors, earning a degree in family and human services with a service to children and youth track. After graduation she plans to earn her post-baccalaureate certification in applied autism studies and plans to attend a doctoral program for occupational therapy. During her time at Towson University, she completed service learning at the Hussman Center, completed a needs assessment for her hometown, interned for the Special Olympics Maryland, and completed shadowing hours at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She would like to thank all her professors, classmates, and family for helping her throughout her college career. James Bryant James Bryant is from Calvert County, and with graduate with honors, earning degrees in chemistry and forensic chemistry with a concentration in trace evidence/drug analysis. After graduation James plans to pursue a career in environmental toxicology. In spring of 2020 he began conducting research with Dr. Mary Devadas. James would like to thank Dr. Devadas along with the Devadas lab group, the Towson Honors College and most important his family and friends for their support over the last 4 years. Anna Carlisle Anna Carlisle was raised in Columbia, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a B.F.A. in dance performance and choreography. After graduation, Anna plans to pursue a performance career dancing before going back to school to earn her masters and become a college professor. During her time here at Towson she studied abroad in Denmark, performed with the Towson University Dance Company, and received an Undergraduate Research Award. She would like to thank the Honors College, her professors and friends for their constant motivation and support throughout her undergraduate career. She would like to give a special thank you to her mom and dad for all their love and support in helping her through her college career. Sonya Choudhary-Smith Sonya is from Rockville, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a B.S in early childhood education. After graduating, Sonya is hoping to move abroad to South Korea to teach English. In addition to completing Towson’s rigorous education program, Sonya was the president of Towson’s figure skating club. She competed for Towson at numerous skating competitions over the past four years. Sonya was also part of numerous intramural soccer teams every fall. She was able to study abroad in South Korea her sophomore year, where she received honors and TU Abroad Diversity scholarships. Sonya is also the recipient of the Mary Wilhelm Odell and William A. Odell Memorial Scholarship Endowment and the Zenith Hurst Velie Memorial Scholarship Awards. Sonya has been on the Dean’s list for each semester of her college career. One of her favorite things about the Honors College were the people she has met along the way. If it wasn’t for the Honors ENG 190 seminar class she was in her freshman year, she wouldn’t have met some of her closet friends today. Sonya has enjoyed her past four years at Towson and is ready for the next chapter in her life. Chibuzor Chukwu Chibuzor Chukwu will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and a minor in business administration. During her 4 years at Towson University’s Honors College, she served as an orientation mentor to honors college new students and completed a 600-hour internship at John Hopkins Medicine as a patient access intern. Chibuzor’s passion for mental health led her to complete an independent study that focused on “The Effectiveness of Psychotherapy in Treating Anxiety, Neurodevelopment and Personality Disorders.” She is grateful for the guidance and support of her family, friends, professors and mentors who saw her through this learning process. After graduation, Chibuzor will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall of 2021to pursue a master’s degree in Health Administration. Naomi Conaway Naomi Conaway is from Frederick, MD and will graduate with honors and a degree in music education. After graduation, Naomi plans to move to El Paso, TX with her husband where she will start her career as a music teacher in the area. She hopes to continue teaching private trumpet lessons as well as continue her love for music and learning. What Naomi appreciates most about her time with the Honors College was living in Douglass House and the friends that were made. She enjoyed all of her honors classes and is thankful for the opportunity to learn in a variety of areas. She would like to thank all of the Honors College staff and faculty for enriching her undergraduate career as well as the family and friends who helped her along the way. Go Tigers! Caroline Cooney Caroline Cooney will graduate with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After graduation, she plans on taking a gap year to gain more clinical experience before applying to a clinical psychology doctoral program. One of the many things she enjoyed about being in the Honors College was the ability to take classes on topics she would have never learned about (e.g., racial inequality in the education system). She also enjoyed the opportunity to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and earn experiential credit. Outside of the Honors College, Caroline is a Sexual Assault Peer Educator. In this role, she helped teach Towson students about the importance of consent and raised awareness of sexual violence on college campuses. Additionally, she was a part of Psi Chi, an international honor society for psychology students, and several research labs. She would like to thank her thesis advisors, Dr. Weidler and Dr. Imtiaz, for supporting her throughout her journey. Amy Craft Amy Craft hails from Seaford, Delaware, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in speech-language pathology and audiology. After graduation, she will attend graduate school in the fall at Towson University to pursue her master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Amy served as a summer undergraduate research assistant under Dr. Kaitlyn Wilson, College of Health Professions, and completed multiple internships and research projects during her time at Towson. Many of her greatest memories come from being in Honors Helping Hands, an Honors Recruitment Officer and being a part of the Honors College Leadership Council. In addition, she has served as secretary for both the ASL Club and the National Student Speech- Language Hearing Association Club at Towson University. Two of her greatest accomplishments include making the Dean’s List throughout her college career and completing her degree requirements for both speech-language pathology and audiology and the Honors College in three years. She greatly appreciates her experiences as a member of The Honors College and would like to thank the staff for their support and guidance. In addition, she would like to thank her mentor, Dr. Wilson, as well as her family and friends for their support throughout her undergraduate college career. Anna Crowe Anna Crowe from Ellicott City, Maryland is graduating with honors, earning a degree in secondary special education with a concentration in middle school science. After graduation Anna plans to teach special education in Maryland. During her time at Towson, Anna was nominated by her Towson supervisors for the Teachers of Promise Program. She would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for supporting her throughout her college career.

John Daniel Mabilangan John Daniel Mabilangan, born in the Philippines and raised in Maryland graduates with an international studies degree with an Asian Studies concentration. After graduation, John plans to look for careers in which he is able to apply his Japanese and French language skills. John had participated in the Baltimore Student Exchange program where he was able to take Japanese language courses in and University of Maryland Baltimore County. Throughout his undergraduate career, John was the vice-president of International Students Association and French Club, as well as an active member of the Badminton Club. In addition, he was an exchange programs intern for the TU’s Study Abroad Office as well as the Volunteer Outreach Intern for the Japan America Society of Washington DC. John has been the recipient of various scholarships such as: the Catherine O’Malley Endowed Scholarship, Beulah M. Price Memorial Scholarship, and the Ruth Marder Presidential Scholarship for Top Ten Scholars. He would like to thank the Honors College, especially Dr. McCartney, the Department of Foreign Languages, and all the family and friends who have supported him throughout his academic pursuits. Rachael Daudelin Rachael Daudelin, originally from Dallastown, PA, will graduate from Towson University and the Honors College with a completed major in psychology and minors in deaf studies and English. After five years, three jobs, and five changes of major, Rachael is thrilled to be graduating but sad to be ending this chapter of her life. During her time at TU, Rachael had the distinct honor of serving for three years as the Honors College Student Director for recruitment, for four years as a student academic advisor, and for five years as a student worker at the University Special Collections and Archives. She also participated in TU’s Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, and ASL Club; has given a TEDx talk and conducted research related to an eating disorder; and, outside of TU, coached a high school speech and debate team. Rachael is grateful for the support of many professional mentors, including professors, supervisors, staff, and coaches. She is also thankful for the students who have trusted her with their advising questions and college transition for the past five years. Post- graduation, she hopes to remain involved with both the TU community and the deaf community and is seeking a full-time position in higher education. Victoria Delgado Victoria Delgado is from Long Island, New York, and will graduate with honors, earning her B.F.A. in music. After graduation, she will pursue a career in opera performance and concert development. During her time at Towson she has performed lead roles in two one-act operas as well as Towson’s full-scale production of Pirates of Penzance (cancelled due to the pandemic). She also served as a Resident Assistant, member of the Music Department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, and tutor at the Writing Center. She would like to thank her family and friends, her mentor Dr. Ziegel, and her voice instructor Courtney Kalbacker for all of their kindness, generosity, support, and encouragement through her college career. Rayna Deltuva Rayna Deltuva hails from Manchester, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in family and human services. After graduation, Rayna plans to start her master’s degree here at Towson University, studying counseling psychology. What she appreciated most about being in The Honors College were the advisors and challenging classes that made her grow as a student. Rayna is a captain on the Women’s Lacrosse Team and will be staying for a fifth year as she completes her master’s degree, and she has been on the honor roll every semester here at Towson. She would like to thank all of the staff at the Honors College and her family for helping her throughout her college career. Max Denn Max Denn is originally from Arnold, Maryland and is graduating with honors, earning two Bachelors of Science degrees, one in in forensic chemistry with a concentration in drug and trace evidence analysis as well as a degree in chemistry. After graduation, Max plans to earn his master’s degree in forensic and investigative science from . Max enjoyed the in-depth discussion and debate in his honor’s classes, as well as participating in the upper-level experiential and advanced learning courses. At Towson, Max was a member of the fraternity where he held numerous leadership positions, a member of the student affiliates of the American Chemical Society, and an undergraduate researcher under the direction of Dr. John Sivey. Max would like to thank all of his professors from his time at Towson, Dr. McCartney for being helpful with making sure all of his requirements were fulfilled during the confusion surrounding COVID-19, Dr. Sivey for giving him the opportunity to learn and become a better scientist, and his family and friends for their constant support. Victoria Dorzey Victoria Dorzey is from Perry Hall, MD and will graduate with honors, earning her B.S. in accounting. After graduation, Victoria plans to start her new job as an Associate at Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander, while pursuing her CPA certification. What she appreciated most about being in The Honors College were the events in Douglass House, the networking opportunities, and the close academic style of the honors’ classes. Victoria was a member of The World-Famous Towson University Marching Band for the four years of her undergrad, and was a Drum Major for three of those years. Victoria was also a member of the Towson Pep Band, , Women in Business and Beta Gamma Sigma. She would like to thank all the staff at the Honors College and her friends and family for helping her throughout her college career.

Olivia Driessen Olivia Driessen is from Fairfax, Virginia and will graduate with honors, earning an ACS- certified degree in chemistry, with a minor in molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. During her time at Towson, she was awarded the Raspet Summer Research Fellowship, two department-wide ACS undergraduate student awards, the Research Impact Award, and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Olivia will begin her Ph.D in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Toronto this fall. She would like to thank her mentor Dr. Sivey, the other superb chemistry faculty, and her family and friends for supporting and guiding her to this achievement. Christopher Edwards Christopher Edwards was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland. He is graduating with honors, earning his degree in film and economics. Christopher joined the Honors College in the middle of his freshman year, and was surprised to find a whole new support system that could help him through his journey. Christopher worked as a teaching assistant for his visual effects classes, acted as treasurer of the university’s club swim team, and was a recipient of an Economics Undergraduate Research Award. He has also won several awards for his films, and he hopes to one day work as a visual effects artist in the film industry. He would like to thank his Honors College professors, and all of his friends and family for supporting him throughout his time at Towson. Alexis Eiwulley-Armah A Frederick County native, Alexis Eiwulley-Armah will graduate with honors, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Following graduation and obtaining her nursing license, Alexis will work on the medical surgical unit at Shady Grove Medical Center, while studying to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Alexis is a member of the Iota Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, an organization that recognizes excellence in nursing in scholarship, leadership, and service. Through her time as a member of the Honors College, Alexis was able to complete two independent nursing research projects, one of which she received a Celebration of Scholarship and Learning presentation award. Alexis is most grateful for the vast knowledge she gained through the Honors College on a number of broad topics within healthcare and beyond. As her undergraduate career comes to an end, Alexis would like to thank her family for their continuous support and guidance through the years.

Jeremy Eppley Jeremy Eppley is from Olney, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in finance. During his time at TU, Jeremy studied abroad in London, was a member of the TU Ultimate Frisbee team, and was the treasurer of the Towson University Investment Group. After graduation, Jeremy plans to start his new job at Ameriprise, while also pursuing his CFA. He is an aspiring financial advisor and looks forward to soon helping individuals, families, and businesses by educating, advising, and preparing them for their financial futures.

Haley Flanders Haley Flanders is from Prince Frederick, Maryland, and will be earning her degree in biology with a concentration in the functional biology of animals. She will also be receiving her minor in chemistry. What she enjoyed most about being a part of the Honors College was having the opportunity to engage in unique, diverse seminars. After spending the last four years at Towson pursuing her undergraduate degree, Haley is going on to pursue her doctorate of physical therapy degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Hannah Frere Hannah Frere is from Calvert County, Maryland and will graduate with honors with a degree in integrated early childhood and special education. This will provide a dual certification to teach both early childhood (pre-K through grade 3) and special education (birth through grade 3). After graduation, Hannah plans to start her teaching career in a public school in Maryland. During her time at Towson, she participated in various clubs such as the Council for Exceptional Children and acted as a liaison between the Honors College and the College of Education. She would like to thank all her advisors, mentors, and professors for preparing her so thoroughly for her future career, as well as her family and friends for all their support. Brandon Grosch Brandon Grosch hails from Eldersburg, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning degrees in history and international studies with minors in German and economics. After graduation, Brandon plans to study international security at George Mason University. What he appreciated most about being in the Honors College were the diverse, engaging seminar classes and the Honors students who he worked with in a variety of different courses. Brandon studied abroad in Prague, was a tutor in economics, American history, and German at the Tutoring and Learning Center, was a recipient of the Dan Jones Excellence in Writing Prize, and was a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. He would like to thank all the staff at the Honors College and in the departments he studied with, and most especially Dr. McCartney, Dr. Dombrowski-Risser, and Dr. Baetjer. He would also like to thank his family, who he loves very much, for always helping and being there for him throughout his college career.

Lily Hensler Lily Hensler is from Lusby, Maryland. She will graduate with honors, obtaining her B.S. in music education. After graduation, Lily plans on pursuing a career as an instrumental music teacher at either the elementary or middle school levels as well as advancing her studies in education, special education, and administration. When she is not lesson planning or teaching, Lily enjoys crafting and going crabbing with her family and friends. At Towson University, she enjoyed performing in various ensembles every semester such as the Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, and the TU Marching Band. What Lily appreciated most about being in The Honors College were the many educators who she had the pleasure of learning from, as well as living in Douglass House. She would like to thank all of the educators and the administration from Honors College for creating this wonderful program. Kathleen Hohweiler Kathleen Hohweiler completed high school in Haddonfield, New Jersey before moving to Baltimore, Maryland. Kathleen will graduate with Honors and a degree in geology. While at Towson, she completed research projects in topics such as civic engagement and metamorphic petrology. Her thesis, titled: Using Longitudinal Synoptic Sampling Methods to Understand Total Ion Imputes in Maryland Streams, represents the culmination of two years of hard work. She was the President of the Geology Club, a three year member of Moore Hydrogeochemistry Laboratory, a sister of Sorority, and a member of the Undergraduate Research Club. She was also involved in the TU-BCPS Model UN Conference and cites this as a majorly influential experience in her undergraduate career. Kathleen was the 2020 recipient of the Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences Pelham Outstanding Junior Award as well as a recipient of a USDA REEU Summer Research Fellowship at Virginia Tech. After graduation, Kathleen will be attending Virginia Tech on a full scholarship to receive her M.Sc. in Biological Systems Engineering. She would like to thank her father, Dr. Alison McCartney, the entire geology department, especially Dr. Moore, the Honors staff, and the Herdelin Family for their patience and unconditional support. Lauren Holmes Lauren Holmes is from Waldorf, Maryland, she is graduating with a degree in psychology. Lauren devoted much of her undergraduate career to volunteering in local schools and with students through tutoring allowing her to develop her passion for education and its interaction with psychology. She will be attending George Mason University in the fall for her master’s degree in psychology with a concentration in school psychology. She is thankful for the experience she had in the Honors College to pursue a variety of subjects she would not have otherwise been able to study and for helpful advisors such as Dr. Fox. Adrianne Holocker Adrianne Holocker (Sykesville, MD) will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a dual concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship. While working towards her undergraduate degree, Adrianne was also earning credit towards her master’s degree through the accelerated marketing intelligence program. Adrianne has been a very active member in the Towson University community, from her roles as the student assistant in the Department of Event and Conference Services to her position as a resident assistant for two years. She is a recipient of the Hoke L. Smith Endowment and the TU Alumni Association Distinguished Scholar Endowment. Adrianne is the former president of the National Residence Hall Honorary, the former vice president of finance for the Alpha Gamma Delta International Women’s Fraternity, and a Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society member. She started in a full-time position as Program/Events Coordinator for Maryland REALTORS® in January of this year and will be continuing in that position post- graduation. Adrianne will continue her Towson University studies for the next year as she works to earn her master’s degree in marketing intelligence. Nicole Hondrogiannis Nicole Hondrogiannis, from Fallston, Maryland, will graduate with a cell and molecular biology degree. She has been a dedicated member of the Devadas Lab Group where she served as lab manager, was actively involved in STEM-related outreach in the local community and performed independent research on gold nanoclusters for biomedical applications. Nicole received the National Goldwater Award in 2020. This fall, Nicole will begin her Ph.D. studies at UNC Chapel Hill in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program. While at TU, Nicole spent a season on Towson’s D1 cross country team and was happy to have interacted with her fellow tigers as a summer and winter orientation leader, Burdick Hall fitness floor attendant, and Phonathon caller. Nicole has a passion for mentoring others and has worked as a chemistry tutor for student-athletes and as an UG learning assistant. She is grateful for all of the amazing chemistry and biology faculty, especially Dr. Devadas for her constant mentorship and for always believing in her. Fatou Jallow Fatou Jallow is from Frederick, MD and will graduate with honors, earning her B.S. in political science and international studies. After graduation, she will attend law school in the fall at the Law Center. During her time at Towson she was a member of the University Residence Government and the National Residence Hall Honorary. During her time at Towson she interned at the Maryland Democratic Party, the United States Department of State, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, and the International Rescue Committee. She has also served as a Resident Assistant and a Community Center Assistant. She would like to thank the Honors College, her professors, family, and friends for their constant support throughout her undergraduate career. Noah Kalodner-Martin Noah Kalodner-Martin is from Columbia, Maryland and will graduate from Towson with honors, earning a degree in psychology. Noah plans to further his education through the industrial/organizational psychology master’s program at College Park in the fall. Noah cherished his time at the Honors College at Towson, especially the companionship of Honors College students living in Douglass House and the environment of the Honors College office, where he worked throughout his time at Towson. Noah was involved in multiple psychological research projects and also held the role of treasurer on the executive board position for Psi Chi International Honor Society. He would like to thank all of the faculty at Towson, especially Dr. McCartney and Dr. Wheeler for providing guidance and helping him to stay focused throughout his college career. He would also like to thank his family, especially his parents, and his friends for their support throughout his time at school. Natalie Kassir Natalie Kassir is from Baldwin, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a bachelor’s in exercise science. After graduation, Natalie will attend graduate school in the fall at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. The highlight of her time at Towson was serving as a peer mentor in the fitness center at The Hussman Center for Adults with Autism. Natalie would like to thank her mom and dad for all of their love and support in helping her throughout her college career and in reaching her goal of becoming a physical therapist. Brandon Kirby Brandon Kirby grew up in Hampstead, Maryland. Began at Towson University in 2017 and graduating May 2021. Very happy to graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration- Marketing and a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. Post-graduation, planning to enter the sports marketing industry. Emily Klemkowski Emily Klemkowski is from Pasadena MD, and will graduate with honors, earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology. After graduation, she will begin Towson University’s entry- level clinical doctorate program in occupational therapy. During her time at Towson, Emily was a member of international women’s fraternity. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her. Kulthum Languida Traore Kulthum Languida Traore is from Silver Spring, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in health science. After graduation, Kulthum plans to start graduate school to get her master’s in health administration (at either University of Maryland or Johns Hopkins University.) What she appreciated most about being in The Honors College was getting to expand her knowledge in so many of her honors seminars in topics such as children’s literature, ethics of abortion, and the faces of masculinity. Kulthum was also inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success while at Towson University. She would like to thank all of the Honors College staff, her family, and her friends for contributing to her undergraduate experience. Lewis Laury, Jr. Lewis M. Laury, Jr. grew up in Baltimore City and attended Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School before matriculating at Towson University. Upon arriving, he received tremendous support from the Students Achieve Goals through Education (SAGE) program which provided him with a solid foundation for his undergraduate success. After being accepted to the Honors College in his sophomore year, his academic experience was enhanced by the Celebration of Leadership and Learning, where he earned first place as well as audience choice for his research. Through this research, Lewis became inspired to investigate the correlation between historical governmental oppression and the development of Baltimore City’s drug culture in an honors thesis. He was awarded the TU Research Impact Award and Maryland Collegiate Honors Council (MCHC) Portz Awards for his research and continual dedication to supporting the Honors College as well as Baltimore City. Lewis plans to attend the University of Maryland Francis King Carey Law School in the fall, where he will continue to work toward redefining Baltimore City through youth-led projects.

Jear Lebaquin Jear Anne Lebaquin is from Prince George’s County, Maryland and will earning her degree in occupation and well-being from the College of Health Professions. After graduation, Jear Anne will begin the graduate portion of Towson University’s Combined BS/MS occupational therapy program, from which she will graduate with a master’s degree in 2022. While at Towson, she enjoyed spending most of her time with the Filipino Cultural Association, where she served as the Newcomer Representative and Co-President. Jear Anne sends her most sincere appreciation to the professors within Honors College as they helped develop her sense of ethical responsibility and purpose. She would like to thank her family and friends for their continued love and support throughout her studies.

Camryn Leddy Camryn Leddy is from Long Island, New York, and will be graduating with honors, earning a degree in integrated elementary and special education. During her time at Towson, Camryn studied abroad in Costa Rica and was in multiple service learning courses within the Honors College. She was also awarded third place in the Internship category for the TU Honors College Spring 2021 Scholarship of Learning. After graduation, Camryn plans to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher. She would like to thank all of her professors who have shaped the way she views education and teaching. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their constant love and support. Nitai Levenson Nitai Levenson is originally from Rockville, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in psychology. He will graduate from both the clinical program and the honor’s thesis program, conducting his research in Dr. Paz Galupo’s Gender and Sexual Identity Lab. Nitai was also fortunate enough to study abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, in the fall of 2019. He was awarded scholarships from the study abroad office and the honors college for the experience and was honored to receive the Neulander Endowment scholarship. What he appreciated about the Honors College the most was the Douglass House events and the opportunities he was encouraged to pursue. He would like to thank Dr. Paz Galupo, Dr. Bethany Brand and Dr. Christina Dardis, for all of their help and guidance. He would also like to thank his friends and family watched him change and grow, and his therapist Sera. Olivia Longo Olivia Longo from Fallston, Maryland, graduates with honors, earning a degree in speech- language pathology and audiology. Following graduation, Olivia will be attending Towson University’s graduate school to earn her master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Additionally, Olivia has been offered a Graduate Assistant position in Towson University’s Speech and Language Clinic. She is looking forward to furthering her clinical experience through this opportunity. What she appreciated most about the Honors College was the opportunity to take classes from a multidisciplinary approach and interact with students of other backgrounds and academic interests. Olivia especially enjoyed the chance to expand her academic and professional interests through her independent studies and internship within the speech-language pathology department studying pediatric traumatic brain injury and treating childhood expressive language disorders. In the fall of 2020, Olivia received the Research Impact Award for her study investigating Family Member’s Experiences following Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury. Olivia would like to thank Dr. Christina Pelatti and Mrs. Karen Day for the ways they have mentored and encouraged her throughout her undergraduate career. Lastly, Olivia would like to thank both her friends and family for the ways in which they have supported and encouraged her over the past four years. Ashish Man Singh Ashish Man Singh was born in Nepal and immigrated to the United States in 2010 and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. After graduation, Ashish plans to enter the field of medicine. What he appreciates most about the Honors program was it provided an opportunity to take upper- level seminar courses where there were students from diverse fields which helped him to understand and tackle problems with different approaches. Ashish was a student at Dr. Tsuji's Diet and Cancer Research Lab where he learned many important lessons from biological concepts to applying scientific method, and important life lessons. He was the treasurer of the Towson University chapter of American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (TU-ASBMB), a recipient Fischer College of Science and Mathematics Undergraduate Research Grant, and the 1st place winner of Biology Undergraduate Research symposium 2020. He would like to thank his mentor Dr. Petra Tsuji for giving him the opportunities to present at multiple conferences/ symposiums along with teaching him about how to critically think about scientific problems and applying scientific method to solve them. He would also like to thank the professors and staff of Towson University. Most importantly, He would like to thank his family for their support throughout his undergraduate career.

Jesselyn Manning Jesselyn Manning, a first-generation college student, will graduate with honors earning a degree in biology and double minor in women's and gender studies and MB3 (Molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics). Following graduation, Jesselyn will be applying to medical school while pursuing clinical research during her gap years. During her time at Towson, she served as the president of Phi National Honor Fraternity, was inducted into the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society, and served on the Independent Greek Council. Through living in Douglass for 3 years, participating in Douglass building council, serving as an Honors orientation mentor for 3 years, and taking many Honors seminars- Jesselyn had many wonderful experiences with fellow Honors students as well as Honors faculty. She gives a special thanks to all of her friends, family, professors, and advisors for supporting her endeavors for the last four years. Allison Mellendick Allison Mellendick, from Sykesville, MD, will graduate with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in integrated elementary and special education. After graduation, Mellendick plans to begin her new career as a first-year teacher. During her time at Towson, she tutored at the Tutoring and Learning Center and worked as a research assistant in the physics department. She would like to thank all the Honors College staff as well as her family and friends for supporting her throughout her four years at Towson. Miranda Mowrey Miranda Mowrey is from Eldersburg, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in economics. After graduation, Miranda plans on starting her new job at Department of Homeland Security working in procurement and acquisition. What she appreciated most about being in The Honors College was the opportunity to learn about interesting topics in Honors Seminars. Miranda founded the Towson University chapter of She's the First, a national club that works to promote education for women worldwide. She is the recipient of the Tara M. Woroby/Marcia Zercoe Scholarship in Economics. She would like to thank all of the staff at the Honor College and her advisor, Dr. Baetjer, for their support and help throughout her college career. Sophie Nabors Sophie Nabors hails from Damascus, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in psychology. After graduation, Sophie plans to start her new job at Cornerstone Montgomery as a rehabilitation counselor for people with chronic mental illnesses. What she appreciated most about being in The Honors College were the intriguing classes and the friends she made at Douglass House. She would like to thank all of the staff at the Honors College, her employers at the Writing Center, and her family for helping her throughout her college career. Erica Newman Erica Newman is from Waldorf, MD, and will graduate with honors, earning her B.S. in information technology. After graduation she will be working a full-time position with IBM. During her time at Towson University, she was a fundraising chair of a natural hair club called Naturalistas. She also served as fundraising chair and secretary of the National Society of Black Engineers where she developed on her leadership and communication skills. She would like to thank her family for encouraging her studies and being motivation for her success. Michelle Ojo Michelle Ojo will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Michelle, a Baltimore native, is excited to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse after graduation. While being a part of Towson University’s Honors College, Michelle lived in Douglass House where she met many of her closest friends. Along with working as a Student Worker for the Honors College and even becoming an Honors Orientation Leader for incoming honors students. Michelle enjoyed how the Honors College provided her with many opportunities to step outside her comfort zone and grow both personally and professionally during her time at Towson. Michelle has had the opportunity to conduct nursing research with Dr. Kyungsook Gartrell on how bonding with mothers impacts the outcomes/treatments of opioid-dependent newborns, work as a clinical nurse extern at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was a student ambassador for TU's admission office. As well as became a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program recipient where she was rewarded $5000 to study abroad. She plans to study abroad in South Korea with her scholarship. She would like to thank her family, friends, and professors from the Nursing Program and Honors College for helping throughout her college career. Julie Outten A native of Baltimore, MD, Julie Outten will graduate with honors, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. After graduation, she will attend medical school to further pursue her career in psychology and ultimately become a psychiatrist for children and young adults. Throughout her time at Towson, Julie volunteered with Reading Partners and Robert W. Coleman Elementary School to assist teachers and elementary school children. Julie excelled in her classes and consistently made the Dean’s list every semester. She would like to thank her family and professors for their advice and guidance throughout her college career. Alyssa Pardoe Alyssa Pardoe will graduate with honors, earning a degree in Exercise Science. Since 2018, she has been employed by the Department of Housing and Residence Life and currently serves as the Community Center Manager in Towson Run Apartments. Her time in the Honors College has allowed her to explore subjects and disciplines outside of her major, which has been an extremely rewarding opportunity. Her favorite experiences have been her service- learning opportunities such as serving as a fitness mentor for participants at the Hussman Institute for Adults with Autism and volunteering as a literacy mentor with Reading Partners Baltimore as well as a tutor with the Baltimore Immigration Outreach Center, all opportunities that were given to her through Honors College coursework. Upon graduating from Towson, Alyssa will be attending Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, England to earn my MFA in Dance Science with future aspirations to enter a career in performing arts medicine working towards advancements in injury prevention, rehabilitation and cross training for artistic athletes. She would like to thank her sister for modeling what success looks like both inside the classroom and out, and her parents for their for their unwavering, overwhelming support. Nicole Reifer Nicole Reifer is from Bel Air, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in biology with a concentration in cell and molecular biology and a minor in molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. Nicole was a part of various intramural sports teams and was a member of Honors College Leadership Council. She did environmental chemistry research, for which she received an undergraduate research grant. She also received the Foundation Scholarship Endowment Award and Biology Scholarship Endowment Award while enrolled at TU. Nicole worked at the Writing Center and the Science Tutoring and Learning Center at TU, helping to tutor other students. These experiences have grown her interest in both the fields of teaching and research, and she hopes to pursue these areas, hopefully in a master’s program at TU in the fall. Asha Rogers Asha Rogers from Columbia, Maryland, and will graduate with a B.S. in athletic training. After graduation, Asha will attend the number one physical therapy school, , to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy and master’s in advanced anatomy. What Asha enjoyed the most about the Honors College was the ability to pursue areas of interest that were nontraditional with her major. Asha was the diversity co-chair for the Athletic Training Club and social media person for Vibe Dance Team. She would like to thank the Honors College for enhancing her collegiate experience at TU. Jane Sagoe Jane Sagoe grew up in Hagerstown, Maryland. She will graduate with a B.S. in business administration and a concentration in Marketing. Jane was involved in many different clubs during her time as a student. She worked as a tutor at Towson University's Writing Center for two academic years and served as Public Relations Chair for Honorables of Color, an Honor's organization on campus. Upon graduating, Jane plans to take some time off and potentially travel. She hopes to pursue a career in Entertainment News or Marketing Communications and ultimately do what brings about joy in her life and the lives of those around her. Claire Schiavone Claire Schiavone is from Frederick, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning her degree in music education. Claire plans to begin her career as a music teacher in the fall following graduation. What she has enjoyed the most about being in the Honors College is the opportunity to take classes with her peers in the Honors College and the community that exists within it. Claire has achieved a high level of academic success in her time at Towson, as she has maintained a position on the Dean’s list since her first semester. In addition to her involvement in honors, Claire has been involved in other aspects of the campus community by being a member of several ensembles including the Towson University Marching Band, Pep Band, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, as well as working as a CCA in Carroll Hall. She is grateful for the opportunities made possible by Towson and the commitment of the music faculty to providing an exceptional education in both pedagogy and musicianship. Claire also wants to thank her friends and family for their continued support throughout her college career and beyond.

Veronica Schoen Veronica "Ronnie" Schoen is from Rockville, MD and will graduate with honors with a degree in communication studies and a minor in business administration. After living in Douglass house freshman year where she met her best friend, Ronnie continued her involvement in the Honors College by serving as a recruitment counselor and orientation mentor for two years. Outside of the Honors College, Ronnie worked as a math tutor for the last two and a half years and was a member of multiple Jewish organizations on campus. Ronnie also was a member of the sorority where she served as Vice President of Finance and a Recruitment Counselor for the Panhellenic Association. Hopefully by the time this is printed, Ronnie will have secured a full time job where she is able to make use of the skills and experiences she gained from the Honors College. She would like to thank everyone who helped her succeed and make the most out of her time at Towson.

Genevieve Simmons Genevieve Simmons is from Harford County, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, Genevieve plans to start her new job as a Registered Nurse on the Pediatric Inpatient Psych Unit at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. Her favorite thing about the Honors College was getting to broaden her horizons and learn about all kinds of topics not covered in her nursing classes. Genevieve minored in Spanish, served as the event coordinator for Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society since her freshman year, and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She would like to thank all of her professors, classmates, friends, and family for challenging and supporting her these past four years.

Aliya Smelkinson Aliya Smelkinson, from Columbia, MD, will graduate with honors, earning a degree in family science with a minor in Jewish Studies. Aliya is pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership in Jewish Education and Communal Service from the Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University through a 5-year BA/MA program. She began taking graduate courses as a junior and has enjoyed building relationships with her professors and peers in the program. During her time as an undergraduate student, Aliya served as the president of Challah for Hunger, was the secretary of Tigers for Israel, and served on the Towson Hillel Student Board and the Towson Hillel Governing Board. She is very grateful for the opportunities that the Honors College provided her with, particularly her internship at The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and an independent study completed with Dr. Deborah Barer. Aliya would like to thank her professors for providing her with meaningful learning opportunities and continuously challenging her to be a better student, her family for their constant love and support, and her friends that made her time at Towson so meaningful.

Dionne Smith Dionne Smith is from Somerdale, New Jersey, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in speech-language pathology & audiology. For nearly 3 years, she has served as a writing tutor at Towson's Writing Center. Her plans after graduation include pursuing a master's degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences. What Dionne enjoyed most about the Honors College were the opportunities she had in conducting research. She would like to thank her project directors from the Speech Department, Dr. Wilson and Mrs. Shannon, for allowing her to work with them on projects related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), as well as Mrs. Day for supervising her clinical internship. In addition to faculty, Dionne would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her throughout her undergraduate career at Towson. Brianna Stang Brianna Stang hails from Berlin, New Jersey, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in forensic chemistry. After graduation, Brianna plans to continue her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago pursuing her master’s in forensic science. Brianna was a member of the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society and the Forensic Science Student Organization for the last four years she spent at Towson. She is also a sister of the Panhellenic sorority Alpha Gamma Delta. Additionally, she served as Vice President and President of the Towson All Star Cheer Club Team. She would like to thank all of the chemistry faculty, her research mentor Dr. Stitzel, and her family for helping her throughout her undergraduate career.

Alanna Stefano Alanna Stefano will be graduating with honors, earning a double major in molecular biology, biochemistry, & bioinformatics and cellular & molecular biology. Alanna also earned minors in chemistry and vocal performance. After graduating, she will begin medical school in August. Alanna was involved in multiple organizations at Towson, including Original Blend a Cappella, TigerTHON Dance Marathon, TU Pre-Medical Club, and the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society. She has been a member of Dr. Mark Bulmer’s research lab for the past three years, and was a recipient of the FCSM Grant. Alanna would like to thank her friends and family, Dr. Bulmer, and the biology department faculty for their support throughout her college career. Marguarite Stewart Marguarite Stewart (Hagerstown, Maryland) graduates with honors, earning a degree in family and human services and a minor in health sciences. During her time at Towson, she maintained her position on the Dean’s List. In the last two years of Marguarite’s undergraduate career, she dedicated her time to improving the lives of students on campus as a resident assistant, Towson University Health Education and Promotion Intern, and Sexual Harassment and Assault Prevention and Education (SHAPE) sub-committee member. After graduation, Marguarite plans on enlisting in the Air National Guard to serve and protect her community and country. Marguarite would like to thank her family, friends, professors, and internship coordinators for helping her realize her potential.

Michaela Sumilang Michaela Sumilang, from Forest Hill, Maryland, will graduate with a B.S. in biology and a minor in MB3. After graduation, Michaela plans to attend medical school so she can fulfill her life-long passion of helping people in medically underserved communities. Michaela was a part of the service committee in the Honors College Leadership Council, Honors Helping Hands, which she helped lead in her sophomore year. Michaela was also an Honors orientation leader and part of the Book Club and Honorables of Color. Her most memorable experiences were taking part in co-curricular events hosted by the Honors College, being an OL, and leading HHH in the Big Event. Michaela was also a part of Pre-Med Club, Freshman Council, Filipino Cultural Association, and Catholic Campus Ministry. She also worked as a ULA for A&P labs and did chemistry research with Dr. Khanh-Hoa Tran-Ba on matrix-assisted drug delivery. Michaela would like to thank the honors faculty and students for enriching her experiences in the Honors College, especially Ms. Rio Napoli, for guiding her during her time as the HHH leader. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support throughout the past four years.

Abigail Sweeney Abigail Sweeney from Westminster, Maryland will be graduating with honors from Towson University with a degree in nursing. After graduation Abigail plans to start her career as an emergency room nurse. Abigail worked on campus at Black and Gold catering during her four years at Towson and also worked as an ER CNI at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center during her senior year. Abigail would like to thank Carrie McFadden for allowing her to participate in research on exercise technology. She would also like to thank her advisors Dr. Briana Snyder and Mrs. Brook Necker for helping her navigate honors and nursing courses throughout her years. Zen Tabligan Zen Tabligan was born in the Philippines and raised in Laurel, Maryland. She is graduating with a Bachelor’s in criminal justice. After graduation, she plans to work for an advocacy group, working with people going through the post-incarceration process or working in victims’ rights. Eventually, she would like to work in crime-scene and help solve some cases. While at Towson, she was the vice president, and the eventual president of Towson’s theater club, Actors Anonymous, where they produced plays, cabarets, and musicals. She was also awarded the Dan Jones Writing Prize for her paper on the relationship between race and violent crime. She would like to thank the members of Actors Anonymous, the members of the Honors College, her professors, and her family for helping her throughout her college career. Jacqueline Tannucilli Jacqueline Tannucilli is from Old Bridge, New Jersey. She is graduating from the sports management program with a minor in business administration. Throughout college, Jacqueline has completed multiple internships with sport organizations and programs. After graduating, Jacqueline plans to attend graduate school and hopes to work in a college athletics program. Michelle Ting Michelle Ting is from Montgomery County, Maryland, and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in elementary education. After graduation, Michelle plans to start her new job as an elementary teacher in Montgomery County, while pursuing her M.E.D. at Towson University. What she appreciated most about being in The Honors College were the hands on opportunities she received in her field. Michelle was the president of Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. at Towson along with numerous other leadership positions. She would like to thank all of the Honors College faculty, her family, and her friends for supporting her college career. Grace Uzat Grace Uzat is originally from Frederick, MD. Post-graduation, Grace will be taking her boards in June and starting a job as a registered nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center in their emergency department. Grace most enjoyed working on an Honor's research project with Professor Nancy Hannafin regarding vaccinations among college students. Grace thanks the honors college, without them she would not have found some of her best friends from living in Douglass House freshman year. Grace would like to thank all of the staff members of the Honors College, specifically Dr. Peter Baker and her family and friends for helping get her through her undergraduate degree. Moses Ventura Originally from Davao City, Philippines and currently residing in Baltimore City, Maryland, Moses Ventura graduates with honors and a bachelor’s degree in biology. After graduation, he plans on pursuing a master’s degree in a physician assistant program and becoming a PA. He thanks the Honors Program for providing him with rigorous, discussion-based classes and introducing him to bright peers that made the college experience all the more fruitful. He also thanks Hannah Montana, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and the power of God for getting him through college. Moses wishes all the best to the faculty, students, and friends he’s met along the way and hopes that one day they may meet again in the future. Morgan Waters Morgan Waters is from Bowie, Maryland and will graduate with honors, having earned a degree in political science with a minor in anthropology. After graduation she will attend George Washington Law School to pursue her JD degree. During her time at Towson, Morgan was the associate editor for the Towson Journal of International Affairs, studied abroad in London, England, was an orientation leader and worked multiple other on-campus jobs. She also won first place in the study abroad category at the Celebration of Scholarship and Learning, was nominated for the Dan Jones writing prize, and remained on the Dean’s list each semester. She appreciates how the Honors College consistently provided interesting and challenging courses for their students and also wishes to thank her family and friends for all of the encouragement they have continued to give her throughout her years. Caitie Willett Caitie Willett, a first generation college student from southern Maryland, will be graduating with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in family & human services. After graduation, Caitie plans to start her career as a social worker. She truly enjoyed being a part of the Honors College community, especially while living and working in Douglass Hall. Caitie was very involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry, and was vice president her junior year. She helped plan many events for the ministry while developing many special friendships. She even helped her chaplain run a festival celebrating the canonization of St. John Henry Newman. One of Caitie’s most cherished experiences at Towson has been her internship at Rose of Sharon Equestrian School. Caitie would like to thank all of the staff, classmates, friends, and family who have supported her throughout her journey at Towson University.

Chloe Williams Chloe Williams, from Long Island, New York, will graduate with honors, earning a degree in speech-language pathology and audiology. After graduation, Chloe will attend graduate school at LIU Post to pursue a master’s degree in speech language pathology. Chloe participated in undergraduate research in autism spectrum disorder and worked on the philanthropy team of her sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, to plan events to fundraise. She would like to thank her family, her friends, and her professors for their continued support.

Chloë Williams Chloë Williams hails from Martinsburg, West Virginia and will graduate with honors, earning a degree in English, as well as electronic media and film. After graduation, she plans to pursue an M.S. in professional writing. Chloë studied abroad in Leeds, England for two semesters at Leeds Beckett University, where she engaged in her fields and travelled around Europe. She was a columnist for newspaper, a first year experience leader, the President of Her Campus Towson, twice-published in Grub Street Magazine, and a member of the Lambda Kappa Tau Media Production Society. Chloë worked on many student films during her time at Towson. She wrote and directed two senior short films, Violet and the Order of the Bats, and her independent study film, Honey. She successfully embarked on a two-semester independent study English capstone project to write a novel, which is given the working title Upsweep. During her senior year at Towson, Chloë was also a Digital Media Intern for the National Organization for Women. Chloë is a proud Tiger, and would like to thank her family, the wonderful friends she has made at Towson, as well as Dr. Fehskens, Professor G. Becker, Professor Jena Burchick, and Professor Kraemer.
