Is Stranger Things' Eleven Coming to Asiapop Comicon 2016? |Geek Crusade 26/9/16, 6:20 PM Is Stranger Things' Eleven coming to AsiaPop Comicon 2016? |Geek Crusade 26/9/16, 6:20 PM Is Stranger Things' Eleven coming to AsiaPop Comicon 2016? |Geek Crusade Could this be real? After dashing our hopes with a cancellation from Hayley Atwell, AsiaPop Comicon 2016 (APCC) sent out a cryptic Facebook post: If you’ve been watching Netflix’s Stranger Things, then you’ll know that it’s a reference to the way Will Hayes communicates with his mother from the Upside Down. And if you watch the lights carefully, you’ll see that they spell out W-A-F-F-L-E-S. Now, who can you think of who’s a fan of waffles? That’s right: It’s Millie Bobby Brown, the Spanish-born British actress who portrays the exceedingly creepy Eleven. Is she the special surprise coming to APCC? ©Netflix It’s worth noting that this is the first year Netflix is available (legally) in the Southeast Asian region. We’ve already seen them conduct fan-centric outreach in Singapore, when they remade Overeasy into Orange is the New Black‘s Litchfield Penitentiary Cafeteria. Netflix also brought in Daredevil star Charlie Cox, to Singapore in March 2016 for a fan meet. In addition, we know that Netflix has been recruiting for a Marketing Manager for South-East Asia who will lead development on local shows like comic convention. http://www.geekcrusade.com/news/stranger-things-eleven-asiapop-comicon-2016/27580 Page 1 of 2 Is Stranger Things' Eleven coming to AsiaPop Comicon 2016? |Geek Crusade 26/9/16, 6:20 PM So really, all this just points to one possible conclusion. Netflix is going to have a presence at AsiaPop Comic Con, and they will bring in their stars for their very first outing. Guess all there is left to do now is to wait for Asiapop Comicon to announce Millie Bobby Brown as their next celebrity guest. http://www.geekcrusade.com/news/stranger-things-eleven-asiapop-comicon-2016/27580 Page 2 of 2.

  • GSC Films: S-Z
GSC Films: S-Z Saboteur 1942 Alfred Hitchcock 3.0 Robert Cummings, Patricia Lane as not so charismatic love interest, Otto Kruger as rather dull villain (although something of prefigure of James Mason’s very suave villain in ‘NNW’), Norman Lloyd who makes impression as rather melancholy saboteur, especially when he is hanging by his sleeve in Statue of Liberty sequence. One of lesser Hitchcock products, done on loan out from Selznick for Universal. Suffers from lackluster cast (Cummings does not have acting weight to make us care for his character or to make us believe that he is going to all that trouble to find the real saboteur), and an often inconsistent story line that provides opportunity for interesting set pieces – the circus freaks, the high society fund-raising dance; and of course the final famous Statue of Liberty sequence (vertigo impression with the two characters perched high on the finger of the statue, the suspense generated by the slow tearing of the sleeve seam, and the scary fall when the sleeve tears off – Lloyd rotating slowly and screaming as he recedes from Cummings’ view). Many scenes are obviously done on the cheap – anything with the trucks, the home of Kruger, riding a taxi through New York. Some of the scenes are very flat – the kindly blind hermit (riff on the hermit in ‘Frankenstein?’), Kruger’s affection for his grandchild around the swimming pool in his Highway 395 ranch home, the meeting with the bad guys in the Soda City scene next to Hoover Dam. The encounter with the circus freaks (Siamese twins who don’t get along, the bearded lady whose beard is in curlers, the militaristic midget who wants to turn the couple in, etc.) is amusing and piquant (perhaps the scene was written by Dorothy Parker?), but it doesn’t seem to relate to anything.

FinalProject 25/08/2018, 930 PM COGS108 Final Project Group Members: Yanyi Wang Ziwen Zeng Lingfei Lu Yuhan Wang Yuqing Deng Introduction and Background Movie revenue is one of the most important measure of good and bad movies. Revenue is also the most important and intuitionistic feedback to producers, directors and actors. Therefore it is worth for us to put effort on analyzing what factors correlate to revenue, so that producers, directors and actors know how to get higher revenue on next movie by focusing on most correlated factors. Our project focuses on anaylzing all kinds of factors that correlated to revenue, for example, genres, elements in the movie, popularity, release month, runtime, vote average, vote count on website and cast etc. After analysis, we can clearly know what are the crucial factors to a movie's revenue and our analysis can be used as a guide for people shooting movies who want to earn higher renveue for their next movie. They can focus on those most correlated factors, for example, shooting specific genre and hire some actors who have higher average revenue. Reasrch Question: Various factors blend together to create a high revenue for movie, but what are the most important aspect contribute to higher revenue? What aspects should people put more effort on and what factors should people focus on when they try to higher the revenue of a movie? http://localhost:8888/nbconvert/html/Desktop/MyProjects/Pr_085/FinalProject.ipynb?download=false Page 1 of 62 FinalProject 25/08/2018, 930 PM Hypothesis: We predict that the following factors contribute the most to movie revenue.

  • The Hitman's Bodyguard
THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD ABOUT THE PRODUCTION “I have a job for you …” -- Agent Amelia Roussel Nearly everybody the notoriously lethal hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) has ever met across the globe want him dead – but that’s only if Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds), the vigilant bodyguard recruited to protect him at all costs, doesn’t shoot him out of sheer infuriation first. The hair-triggering rivalry and potential joining of forces between a high-flying, Triple-A rated hired gun and a protection specialist results in an outrageous, fast-paced action comedy that twists and twines the hitman thriller, the bodyguard romance and the odd-couple buddy comedy into one irreverently fun ride. Featuring a hilarious “bromance” between blockbuster stars Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, creatively choreographed fight scenes and exhilarating high-speed chases THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD offers a non-stop mashup of laughs and outrageous action. The wild chase begins when Interpol strikes a risky deal with a newly captured Kincaid: if he agrees to be a star witness against the bloodthirsty Belarusian tyrant Vladislav Dukhovich (Gary Oldman) in the International Criminal Court, they’ll free Kincaid’s cherished, and not-to-be-trifled with, wife Sonia (Salma Hayek) from jail. There’s just one problem: Interpol has only 24 hours to transport Kincaid from the North of England to The Hague – knowing full well that cutthroats and assassins will be lying in wait to hit the hitman the entire way to Holland. Things go wrong right off the bat, as Interpol Agent Amelia Roussel (Elodie Yung) leads the prison convoy transporting Kincaid into an ambush.

  • Daredevil Series Mp4 Download Daredevil Season 4: Disney+ Is Reviving the Netflix Daredevil Series
daredevil series mp4 download Daredevil Season 4: Disney+ is reviving the Netflix Daredevil series. Netflix Daredevil series was first released back in 2015 and became a hit after the release. It’s based on a Marvel’s comic book hero Daredevil, Matt Murdock, who got blinded but got a super-power in exchange. He is a lawyer by day and fights criminals at night as a vigilante. Being blinded heightened his other senses such as his hearing. He became the devil of Hell’s kitchen. Many Marvel TV shows aired on Netflix like The Punisher, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones, and there was a cross-over series, Defenders. However, all of these shows are now canceled. The good thing about these shows was there were plenty of crossovers. The shows were inter-linked, like how marvel heroes are supposed to be. Punisher’s backstory was shown in Daredevil, in Daredevil Season 2, Punisher, played by Bernthal was the one of the main cast. Sadly, Punisher was not in defenders. It first aired back in 2017 and ended in 2019 with second and last season. Iron Fist also has only two seasons, the same case with Luke Cage. On November 29, 2018, Netflix canceled Daredevil with third and finals season. They claim the ending was too good for another season, so they ended the show. Charlie Cox played as Matt Murdock and was called perfect “Daredevil”. All three seasons were pretty good. So, Daredevil Season 4 is not coming to Netflix. However, Disney plus is reviving some Netflix Marvel characters.

August 2019 #70 __________________________________________________________________________________________ _____ Some Hidden Gems to Stream in the Era of Peak TV By Steve Sternberg In the era of Peak TV, there are more original scripted series on more platforms than ever before. Ten years ago, there were no streaming services – today, two-thirds of homes in the U.S. have at least one, and over the next year or two more major players are on the way. A few years from now, the majority of TV homes will probably subscribe to three or more streaming services. Some of the higher-profile original series, such as Netflix’s House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things, Narcos, Black Mirror, and The Crown, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, and The Looming Tower, and Amazon Prime Video’s The Man in the High Castle, Transparent, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, have won awards and received a lot of press coverage. So even though most viewers may not have actually watched them, many have at least heard of them (and might be among the first shows they check out when they subscribe to one of the major streaming services). There are numerous other good-to-great TV shows on these platforms that most people have probably never heard of. I’ve been analyzing television programming for more than 30 years and pride myself on keeping up with the TV/video landscape, and there are many shows I hadn’t been aware of until I started doing research for this report. I’ve already written about some of the best original series to stream and binge, highlighting such excellent shows as Amazon Prime Videos Bosch, Netflix’s Ozark and GLOW, and CBS All Access’s The Good Fight and Star Trek Discovery.
