Nog 2 of 3 wedstrijden te gaan en het is voorlopig gedaan met de veldhockeycompetitie. Tijd voor de zaalhockeycompetitie of de Midwintercompetitie. Dames 1, Meisjes B1, C1, C2 en D1 en Jongens C1 en C2 hebben zich opgegeven voor de zaalhockeycompetitie. Die gaat van start in het 2 e weekend van december. Voor deze competitie speelt elk team 12 wedstrijden gedurende 6 weekenden in december, januari en/of februari. In 2 uur tijd speel je 2 wedstrijden tegen 2 verschillende tegenstanders. De wedstrijden worden gespeeld in sporthallen in Zuid Holland. Ja, ook bij ons in de Steupel. Veelal wordt er op zondag gespeeld, maar een enkel team kan ook op zaterdag moeten spelen. Een zaalhockeyteam mag maximaal uit 12 spelers bestaan. Tijdens de wedstrijd wordt er gespeeld met 1 keeper en 5 veldspelers. De overige spelers van het team kunnen continu door wisselen. Een wedstrijd duurt 35 minuten, met halverwege een wisseling van kant door de scheidsrechters, de teams blijven staan. De spelregels en de manier van spelen zijn iets anders dan op het veld. In de zaal heb je bijvoorbeeld balken aan de zijkant liggen, waar je tegen kan kaatsen. Of je speelt de bal via de balk naar een medespeler. Slaan is verboden en de bal mag niet los van de vloer komen. Voor dat je een wedstrijd gaat spelen, ga je eerst oefenen in de Steupel en leer je de spelregels kennen. Op maandag 28 november staat de eerste training gepland. Op de volgende tijden krijgen de volgende teams training: 16.00 – 17.00: MD1 en MC2; 17.00 – 18.00: MC1 en MB1; 18.00 – 19.00: JC1 en JC2. Ook op maandag 12 december en op 9 en 16 januari word je voor training in de Steupel verwacht. Zowel tijdens de trainingen als tijdens de wedstrijden moet je op schone zaalschoenen spelen waar geen zwarte zolen onder zitten. Hockeyen met een zaalhockeystick, dunner en lichter dan een veldhockeystick, heeft de voorkeur, maar is niet verplicht. Vertrek- en speeltijden van de wedstrijden worden door de coach doorgegeven en 6 kunnen ook via onze website gevonden worden. Alvast veel plezier en sportief succes toegewenst. Aan de plas hockeyen prima. In de plas niet. 10 minuutjes wachten duurt te lang…. Over een week is het vast ‘niet weer’ om 13uur aan het gieten. Op een mooiere dag spelen ze je graag… dat is 4 december! NIEUW(s)KOOP De H.C.N. kalender kost helemaal geen €10 euro. En het levert de club meer op! Ook vanuit economicrisis oogpunt een prima investering. Koop die kalender, en verdien een drankje terug door op het juiste moment Jasper Akerboom te feliciteren (29 nov:). FANTASTATISTIEK Helaas, meten is weten. Kennis moet je delen. Alexander Schoon en Boy van Poorten waren niet op de hoogte. Schoon plukte de bal fabuleus in minuut 1 voor de neus van Houtenaar weg en lobte over de keeper nipt langs de paal… Boy van Poorten ontlokte een strafcorner waaruit goal viel. Hadden deze youngstars geweten van het meten lieten zij de openingsscore niet over aan åó™é®. The Dutch Golden Age and Globalization: History and Heritage, Legacies and Contestations Joop de Jong I. Context In 1579, seven of the seventeen Provinces of the Netherlands unenthusiastically declared their independence from the Habsburg King of Spain, to form the United Provinces, also known as the Union or the Dutch Republic. The new country achieved full international recognition in 1648, even though many states recognized its sovereignty much earlier. The Dutch Republic was small in both size and population. It covered more or less the same territory as the present Dutch state, and had approximately 1.5 million inhabitants in 1600, and about 1.9 million by 1700.1 In 1600, France had 18 million inhabitants, Spain (including Portugal) 11 million, and Great Britain 7 million.2 The province of Holland contributed some 45 percent of the country’s total population.

Supervisor: Author: Dr. Cor Veenman Thijs van der Velden 2nd Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Aske Plaat Abstract In the Netherlands, each municipality is strongly encouraged to write an Integral Safety Plan (ISP). An ISP is a document that contains problems, goals, and priorities related to safety. This research proposes a method to select an effective and relevant ISP for a municipality out of all available ISPs. It focused on the ISPs of the 390 municipalities in the Netherlands, and aimed to determine ways to assist/support a new written ISP by suggesting relevant ISPs to municipalities in order to learn effective methods from the suggested ISPs. This was done by scoring all currently existing ISP's to get the best performing plans, focusing on crime statistics. Two dimension-reduction techniques were applied to descriptive statistics of the municipalities, and the best performing technique (t-SNE) was used. The municipalities were then clustered with K-means in the t-SNE space to retrieve groups of similar municipalities. In addition, k-nearest neighbor algorithm was used to find the K most similar municipalities from a starting point. This research showed a solution to score ISPs and two solutions to find similar municipalities in order to suggest relevant ISPs.
