He has been entertaining fans for almost 30 years with his down-home sensibility and wickedly funny humor. Over the years his audience has grown in size and scope. Henry Cho’s fans come from diverse backgrounds, and it is truly amazing to see people from all walks of life come to see him perform. Henry’s TV credits include appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show, CBS’s The Late, late Show and NBC’s Young Comedians Special. But perhaps Henry Cho is most recognizable from NBC’s Friday Night Videos, on which he served as the host for three years. Film credits include McHale’s Navy with Tom Arnold and David Allen Greer; Say It Isn’t So with heather Graham and Sally Field; and Material Girls with Hilary Duff and Angelica Houston produced by Madonna. Henry Cho has also worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment. He’s toured with Reba McEntire, Amy Grant, Brooks and Dunn. Henry Cho is of Korean American descent and was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. Henry started working in stand-up comedy in 1986. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and then moved to Los Angeles, California in 1989 to pursue his comedy career. However, Henry says he always had the intent of returning to his roots in Tennessee. Henry Cho often uses his childhood experiences as an Asian American in the South in his comedy performances. “I’m an Asian with a Southern accent,” says Henry, “To a lot of people, that right there is funny.” You can enjoy Henry Cho several times weekly on XM Radio’s Channel 151, Laugh USA and Sirius Radio’s Blue Collar Radio channel 103, Pandora Radio’s PG Comedy Radio channel. The comedy radio broadcasts are nationwide. http://www.henrychocomedy.com/ The days of clucking like a chicken are over. Paul Ramsay’s “Mind Games” show breaks the mold of stage hypnotism. Using interactive polling software and remote controls, audience members steer the course of the show by voting on what they want to see happen on stage. Paul debuted “Mind Games” in the fall of 2010, and the response has been fantastic. Paul Ramsay is a two-time graduate of the University of New Hampshire. After teaching high school English for several years, he returned to his alma mater and worked in Residential Life. Paul’s experience as an educator, combined with his talents as a hypnotist, make him a perfect entertainer. “Mind Games” approaches stage hypnotism from a whole new angle. It’s interactive, original entertainment that transforms average individuals into a cast of characters before your very eyes! You’ll talk about what you see long after the show is over. http://paulramsay.com/ REMEMBER……ALWAYS LOTS OF DOOR PRIZES!!! For Comedian Henry Cho, making the most of who he is has not been a problem. I’m an Asian with a Southern accent, remarks Cho. To a lot of people, that right Henry Cho there is funny. Cho, who is Korean American, was born in Knoxville, TN and went into stand-up comedy in 1986 with the goal of getting into films. He moved to Southern Speech Topics California in 1989 to pursue his career, but always with the intent of returning to his roots in Tennessee. I planned to live in LA until I reached a level I was comfortable with and then get out of there, comments Cho. Humor In 1994, after he moved to a farm in the Nashville area, Cho got the call from NBC Entertainment to host NBC’s Friday Night Videos which he did by commuting to LA weekly for two Celebrity years. While in LA, Cho became a regular guest/comedian on such shows as The Tonight Show and The Arsenio Hall Show. His TV credits also include guest roles on various sitcoms such as CBS’ Designing Women and Lenny, The New WKRP in Cincinnati and a starring role in FOX’s TV movie, Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation. Cho’s many comedy credits include NBC’s Bob Hope’s Young Comedians Special, MTV’s ½ Hour Comedy Hour, and VH-1’s Stand-up Spotlight. The move back to his home state definitely did not hurt Cho’s career. Along with getting the Friday Night Video gig he as done two feature films and an independent.
