The creation of Petersham-Marrickville DCC itself was the result of an amalgamation in 1951 between Petersham DCC (1899-1951) and Marrickville DCC (1910-1951). The collective lifespan of each of the four foundation clubs together with the 10 seasons of Randwick Petersham to 2010-11 represents a total of 253 cricket playing years. This number is well in excess of the 223 years history of the MCC at Lord’s which was founded in 1787. While the MCC is indoubtedly the world’s most famous cricket club, with its heritage spanning 253 years, Randwick Petersham may well be the oldest cricket club in the world. 1 Randwick Petersham Cricket Club Incorporated Founded 2001 www.randwickpetershamcricket.com.au TENTH ANNUAL REPORT 2010-11 Notice of Annual Meeting Notice is hereby given that the Tenth Annual General Meeting of Randwick Petersham Cricket Club Incorporated will be held at Petersham RSL Club, Regent St., Petersham on Thursday 14 July 2011 at 7.00pm.
