Every year, the Arts Festival offers new and distinct opportuni- ties. In addition to the Festival’s Juried and Members Shows in the Main Tent, special highlights this year include:

• Coastal Printmakers exhibit and demos in the Feature Tent. • “Tent Talks” in the Main Tent (Sat., 12pm). • Boat races, Father’s Day craft-making and more in KidsTent. • Back-to-back performances on the Sound Stage. • Friday night party at the Art Center, headlined by local music phenomenon, Aldous Collins Band. • Nearly 100 artisan booths, which bring the festival out of the marquees and onto the Common.

Consider some highlights from the past year: • SSAC curated an ongoing slate of thought-provoking exhibitions: Out of Order, White | Black | Monochrome, Once There Was a House, Entryways, Legacy.

C • Our Artist-in-Residence program paired watercolor- B o r lin ad M ist and polar expeditionist, Lisa Goren, with 1,400 S o h ch e r students over the past school year. Goren took local rw ie o o & d children on exploratory journeys of the frozen tundra COUNTRY through art-making workshops. • Our highly-respected arts education program contin- L ee B ued to offer classes and workshops in diverse visual arts ri ce media, geared for every age and learning level. - ld a • The community came out in droves for SSAC’s n o cD creatively-themed parties and events such as Elegant M l e Evening in Eastwick; South Shore Comic-Con; and the a h ic aptly-named Art Off the Wall.
