RISING STARS LESSON 7 – CHALLENGING BEHAVIOURS STUDENT WORKSHEET 7.1 My Premiership Team – AFL Players’ Comments on Bullying Jigsaw Activity: Cut these comments into individual strips and distribute to the class so that students piece the information together on their charts. It got to the point where I had enough and ran off the field and said I would never play the sport again. It was easily one of my worst footy experiences. I was furious and was very young. I did not understand why I should be bullied because of the colour of my skin. They never accepted what was unjust and those who were most affected found a solution through a non-violent approach. Learn from the greats. The victims of this do not willingly agree to this treatment and behavior and often are scared for their safety. It is never acceptable to make someone feel unsafe or helpless.
