Browser settings The Munis system launches additional browser tabs/windows as needed. For this reason, please make sure to disable any pop-up blocking from within the browser’s settings. Internet Explorer and Safari are the only two officially supported browsers.

For Internet Explorer users only, ensure that the following sites are added to the browser’s trusted sites: https://munis.pasco.k12.fl.us https://mas.pasco.k12.fl.us https://munistcm.pasco.k12.fl.us

For Safari users on laptops only, ensure that Safari is not disabling plug-ins while on battery by toggling off the Stop plug-ins to save power option in the advanced preferences tab.

Do NOT save passwords to keychains or web browsers, as this will cause log-in difficulties when passwords are changed.

Unsupported Browsers , Chrome, and Edge are not officially supported and may not be compatible with Munis functions.

Download and install Silverlight 1. Navigate to http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight 2. Click DOWNLOAD NOW under the Get Silverlight 5 header – if Silverlight is already present and up-to-date this option will not appear 3. Run the Silverlight installer a. The initial setup process may vary based upon OS environment i. Windows users may have the option to directly run the program from the download dialogue box ii. Other Windows users, as well as Apple users, will navigate to the installer’s download location and run the program b. Windows users may be prompted by User Account Control as to whether the program is trusted – click Yes c. In the Install Silverlight menu, de-select any options that prompt changes in search engines and home page d. Click Install now i. Apple users may be prompted to enter their administrator authorization – this is the computer’s (not Munis) login and password e. Click close once the installation process is complete 4. Quit Safari/Internet Explorer in order to finalize the installation process

Elevated trust in TCM/Attachments Elevated trust is an Attachments option available only on a Windows platform – Apple users will see the elevated trust message but cannot run the installer to permit elevated trust. Enabling elevated trust permits the end user to scan documents directly into Munis, rather than importing them from the user’s computer.

Enable elevated trust on a WINDOWS environment only 1. Click on the elevated trust message highlighted in yellow 2. Click Run on the download prompt that appears on the bottom of the screen – a warning message may appear depending on browser and system settings a. If a message indicates that the publisher of the installer cannot be verified, click Run b. If a message indicates that the file is not commonly downloaded, click Actions, select More Options, and click Run Anyway c. If a message appears from User Account Control requests permission to make changes to the computer, click Yes 3. After any warning messages have been addressed, the installer window will appear – it may be hidden beneath under other active windows a. Click Next on the welcome screen b. When prompted to input the TCM server name or IP address input https://munistcm.pasco.k12.fl.us and click Next c. Click Install on the Silverlight permissions installer prompt – if a message appears from User Account Control requests permission to make changes to the computer, click Yes d. Click Finish 4. Click Close Viewer to exit the attachments screen and finalize elevated trust
