Established a novel Genome Engineering Assisted Continuous Evolution (GREACE) strategy for facilitating complex tolerance phenotypes in Corynebacterium glutamicum and enhanced the strain’s heat and acid tolerance phenotypes with 15.9% improved L- glutamate production. . Evolved and characterized better phosphoketolase mutants which facilitated 18.2% increased L-glutamate yield by Corynebacterium glutamicum. . Evolved novel mutants of a transmembrane protein, MviN, which resulted in 22.2% L- glutamate yield by Corynebacterium glutamicum. . Contribute to various projects focused on identification and modification of target genes for improved production of specific bioproducts by Corynebacterium glutamicum .
