You’re invited to the Radio Dubuque Broadcasting Exploring Program Dear Future Explorer, KDTH You are invited to design and record your own commercial, uncover how music is selected for the radio, and discover how radio stations use social media – all included in AM 1370 the Broadcasting Exploring program. The Radio Dubuque Stations – AM 1370 KDTH, 92.9 KAT-FM, 97.3 The Rock and 101.1 The River – are proud to offer a 5-week program on KAT FM radio broadcasting as a way to experience hands-on what happens day to day in a 92.9 career at a radio station. It is a great way to build your college resume, have fun, and meet new friends. KGRR-FM This is also a great way to learn about the communication industry. You’ll have the 97.3 ability to see and hear about various career positions within the field. It provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields. You get hands-on experience to determine whether or not a particular career field is right for you. You develop valuable networking contacts with professionals working in your selected career fields, and you get to know other teenagers and young adults sharing your same interests and aspira- tions. Choosing a career path is a major decision. Exploring is can be the first step in identifying career possi- bilities while having fun in an exciting and informal environment. Try out a few interest areas, and start networking by taking part in some great opportunities!
