Subsequent to the final of the Regular Session of the , the following communication was received: Department of State December 13, 2013 This will acknowledge receipt of the initiative petition entitled “An initiation of legislation to enact the abortion insurance opt-out act; to require the purchase of coverage for elective abortion in a health care plan to be by an optional rider only; required notice to employees for whom elective abortion coverage is purchased by their employer; and provide penalties for violations of this act,” which was adopted by the Michigan Senate on December 11, 2013 and filed with this Department on December 12, 2013. The initiative petition was also approved by the Michigan House of Representatives on December 12, 2013 and filed with this Department on December 12, 2013.
