School of Law has already proposed one year programme of LL.M. in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice under this chair. 9 Annual Report 2016-17|School of Law| Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal A brief Introduction of ‘Advocate Ram Jethmalani – Jagran Lakecity University Chair for Criminal Law and Criminal Justice’ To honor the valuable contributions by legendary jurist Mr. Ram Jethmalani in the field of criminal law and jurisprudence, School of Law is proposing to establish Chair of Criminal Law by the name JAGRAN LAKECITY UNIVERSITY CHAIR ON CRIMINAL LAW (JLUCCL). Criminal law and criminal justice have always been the fields of practice and research. Law is needed to keep pace with the rapid changes in the society. Various dimensions of crime have emerged in the past few decades. JLUCCL aims to ensure continuous growth in the area of criminal law and to establish a common platform for those who have stake in the criminal justice system of the country. It also aspires to create a bridge between the vulnerable and underprivileged section of the society and criminal justice system. Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India gave his approval to be a part of the Academic Advisory Board Honorable Justice Balakrishnan, former CJI with Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anoop Swarup and Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Shrivastava. Balakrishanan, Konakuppakatil Gopinathan, B.Sc., LL.M, born on 12-05-1945. Got enrolled as an Advocate of the Kerala Bar Council on 16-03-1968. Practiced on both on Civil and Criminal sides at Erinakulam. Appointed as a Munsif in the Kerala Judicial Service on 10-01-1973 and later resigned from service and resumed practice as an Advocate in the Kerala High Court. On 26-09-1985 - appointed as a judge of the Kerala High Court. On 24-11-1997 transferred to Gujarat High Court. On 16-07-1998 became the Chief Justice of the High Court of Gujarat and was transferred to the High Court of Judicature at Madras and assumed charge there as Chief Justice on 09-09-1999.

Due to the rapid growth of digital data and video database over the Internet, it is becoming very important to extract useful information from visual data. The scientific community has increased the amount of research into new technologies, with a view to improve the digital video utilization: its archiving, indexing, accessibility, acquisition, store and even its process and usability. All these parts of the video utilization entail the necessity of the extraction of all important information of a video, especially in cases of lack of metadata information. This paper describes importance of descriptive metadata of video, categorization of video contents based on video descriptive metadata, and high level metadata based web video modeling. The main goal of this paper is to construct high level descriptive metadata with and without timeline for all the category of videos and extraction of metadata from web videos such as YouTube and Face Book.
