Minnesota-Duluth are in the Lone Star Conference) Services Set For Former Javelina Student Trainer A funeral mass for former Texas A&I student athletic trainer Terri Pattillo will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Our Lady of Consolation Church in Vattman. Burial will follow the mass. A memorial service will be held at Ben Bolt Badger Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11. Pattillo, 61, died Nov. 8. She was a student trainer for the Javelinas while working on her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University. Pattillo was a certified athletic trainer. She was on the El Paso Belair High School staff in 1976-80 and she sent several of her students to A&I to work in the athletic training department. Pattillo joined the Ben Bolt High School staff in 1987. She is survived by her mother, Frankie Crocker Pattillo; brothers Gary Pattillo of Kingsville and Monte Pattillo of Corpus Christi; sisters Deborah Pattillo of Kingsville, Jayne Loff of Wmberley and Leah Murphy of Port Aransas. Pesek, Viera IBC Bank Top Athletes Texas A&M-Kingsville football player Trevor Pesek and Javelina basketball player Ashley Viera were named the IBC Bank athletes of the week for their performances last week. Pesek, grad student defensive back from Inez (Industrial), had 15 tackles in the Javelinas’ final game and two were for losses. He had one sack. Viera, sophomore guard from Corpus Christi (Ray), was five of 10 from the field and four for seven from the three-point stripe against Huston-Tillotson. She had 17 points, four assists and a steal in the game. Against St. Mary’s, she was six of 12 from the field and three of six from the three-point arc. She had 18 points, one assist and two steals.
