I am so glad to have you as our guest for this incredible season finale. The energy this cast brings to the stage will make you want to get up and dance to the iconic music from the legendary Bee Gees. I’m thrilled to share this electrifying production with you. Next season the excitement continues on our Mainstage with a spectacular line-up. The 2017–18 season will begin with Broadway’s classic Tony Award-winning Best Musical A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum. You’ll meet Pseudolus, a crafty slave who struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan for his young master. The plot twists and turns with cases of mistaken identity, slamming doors and a bevy of beautiful showgirls. I think this musical comedy is one of the funniest Broadway shows ever written, and I’m sure you’ll agree. During the holiday season we’ll look to a brighter “tomorrow” with one of the world’s best-loved musicals Annie. This Tony Award- winning Best Musical features some of the greatest musical theatre Photo: Mark Garvin hits ever written including “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” and “Tomorrow.” I’m excited to share this exciting production with you and your family, as Annie fills our hearts with joy! Our season continues with The Humans. This comedy won more than 20 Best Play awards in 2016, including the Tony Award.

THE ZINE DUMP 49 A zine about zines by GUY LILLIAN III 1390 Holly Avenue Merritt Island FL 32952 [email protected] 318/218-2345 GHLIII Press Pub #1278 May, 2020 The Zine Dump is a fanzine devoted to the science fiction fanzine world. It wants to see and list every generally- distributed amateur publication devoted to SF and its fandom published in English, and hear and comment on all news connected with the hobby. Published on eFanzines.com, by e-mail, by hard copy for trade and in mailings of the Worldcon Order of Fan-Editors. Dedicated to Marty Pasko, writer, editor and wit, who added mad humor and excitement to my year at DC Comics. Among the many superheroes he sent to fight injustice: Superman, Batman, the Metal Men, Swamp Thing, the Justice League of America, the Tick, E-Man, and many others. He wrote for Roseanne Barr and brought superhero TV animation high esteem, winning an Emmy for his work on the Batman animated series. He was brilliant and iconoclastic and hilarious. His work and his wit were wondrous, and I’m proud I knew him. God rest his epic soul. The Zine Dump 49 Some new tactics for this issue of The Zine Dump. For one thing, I’m not letting zines stack up to review all at once as I formerly – and stupidly – did. For years, la belle Rose-Marie has advised me to write up a zine as soon as it shows, in the mail, e-mail or on eFanzines. I did so this time, and the difference in my energy and enthusiasm has been amazing.

U.S. Senators: Vote YES on the Disability Treaty! © Nicolas Früh/Handicap International November 2013 Dear Senator, The United States of America has always been a leader of the rights of people with disabilities. Our country created the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ensuring the rights of 57.8 million Americans with disabilities, including 5.5 million veterans. The ADA inspired the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) treaty. The CRPD ensures that the basic rights we enjoy, such as the right to work and be healthy, are extended to all people with disabilities. Last December, America’s leadership diminished when the Senate failed to ratify the CRPD by 5 votes. In the pages that follow, you will find the names of 67,050 Americans who want you to vote Yes on the CRPD. Their support is matched by more than 800 U.S. organizations, including disability, civil rights, veterans’ and faith-based organizations. These Americans know the truth: • Ratification furthers U.S. leadership in upholding, championing and protecting the rights of children and adults with disabilities • Ratification benefits all citizens working, studying, or traveling overseas • Ratification creates the opportunity for American businesses and innovations to reach international markets • Ratification does not require changes to any U.S. laws • Ratification does not jeopardize U.S. sovereignty The Senate has an opportunity that doesn’t come along often in Washington—a second chance to do the right thing and to ratify the CRPD. We urge you and your fellow Senators to support the disability treaty with a Yes vote when it comes to the floor. We must show the world that U.S.
