Parish Prayer - for Mission in our Time and Place: God of the Universe, we give you thanks for all that we share, for the faith and community that sustains us. God of our lives, you are challenging us to follow you into the future, inviting us to new ventures, new challenges, new ways to care, new ways to touch the hearts of all. When we are fearful of the unknown, give us courage. When we worry that we are not up to the task, remind us that you would not call us if you did not believe in us. When we get tired or disappointed with the way things are going, remind us that you can bring change and hope out of the most difficult situations. Bless to us, O Lord the doors we open, the thresholds we cross, the roads that lie before us. Go with us as we go, sharing the journey! ➢ SUNDAY MORNING MASS 10.30am in St John Stone Church, and via zoom: Meeting ID: 851 9361 2970 Passcode: 271240 https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85193612970?pwd=eFp4bVF1bXZQZ3BMNWUvZis1YnRIZz09 ➢ HOLY COMMUNION with a short prayer, 6.30pm Saturdays, outside Sacred Heart ➢ HOME COMMUNIONS can be requested if you are housebound and able to come to your door threshold. ➢ VIRTUAL LITURGY: Click on these links for: Masses Prayer/Resources CAFOD resources Living the Word and the Liturgy: Jesus said “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever”. First communions, with a family group at Sunday mass at St John Stone Church Confirmations: years 8,9,10, and September’s year 8 are prepared at school, for celebrating the sacrament with the Bishop in October and November as a deanery. In the next few weeks there will be census forms in church, which we ask you to complete and return it to the Parish office or in the collection basket. Memorial Garden: Two ladies, Lou and Mel, came to the garden this week, having seen on Facebook about the mess and had come to tidy it up - but Andrew & Veronica Curtis, Anne Pickup and Steve Bousfield, with a group of teenagers using the garden, had beaten them to it. Thank you anyway What lovely people you are!!
