I:\adm\GENERAL\MISC\2019 Rates\Upper Prov Rates.doc LETTER OF INTEREST FOR PARK AND RECREATION BOARD

From: "Wendy Earle" Date: Fri, Jan 4, 2019 at 1:42 PM -0500 Subject: Resume To: "Laurie Higgins"

Hi Laurie:

Thanks for the call and considering me for the Parks & Rec position. As I said I don’t have a formal resume, but following is an overview of the major points of interest in my adult life. There are a number of minor positions that filled in some gaps, but I don’t find them worth mentioning.

I’m originally from (Collingswood) and graduated from The College of New Jersey (Trenton State then) with a BS and BA in education, and minors in English and Psychology.

My first “real” job was with the Farm Journal, which at that time was in on Washington Square. My position was Composition Manager, which was part of the editorial department. I was there for nine years.

Next I went to Kansas City, MO and was Advertising and PR Manager for Multivac Packaging Machinery, a German company with US headquarters located there. Besides the obvious, I also managed their trade show participation and event planning. I was with them for nine years also.

A divorce brought me back east, and in 1999 I joined SKF USA Inc. SKF is a Swedish company and the largest bearing manufacturer in the world, with NA headquarters in Lansdale. I have been Market Communications Senior Project Leader for them for over 19 years. My responsibilities included press and public relations, trade shows, advertising, collateral materials, event planning—basically everything that communicates with the market.

That’s pretty much it. If you need any further info, please don’t hesitate to ask. I've lived at the address below since 1998, but this is my first opportunity to get involved in the community. Let me know what is the next step, and when/where the meeting takes place.

Regards,

Wendy Earle 316 Minuteman Drive Collegeville, PA 19426 610-909-5539 [email protected]
