Project Development Objectives Project Development Objective (from Project Appraisal Document) The development objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency performance in targeted public sector buildings (schools and hospitals) in order to provide demonstrated basis for development of a sustainable energy efficiency improvement program in the public sector in Montenegro.

Key Decisions Regarding Implementation Based on the positive results of the project, the Government requested Additional Financing in the amount of Euro 5 million for retrofitting an additional 12-14 subprojects in hospitals and health care centers throughout the country, including additional works on the Clinic Center Montenegro in Podgorica. The Additional Financing Loan has been submitted to the Board for approval on December 23, 2013, and the new Loan Agreement is expected to be signed by the end of 2013.
