Line 4 of the Metrobus, has a start route at Buenavista Terminal (where you will find the Suburban Train service as well as directions 1 and 3 of the Metrobus), which passes through the San Lázaro Metro terminal (trunk station where you will find bus services, and metro routes). This line connects to the Benito Juarez International Airport of Mexico City; the boarding areas are in Terminal 1 at Gate 7 and Gate 2 in Terminal 2. Metrobus Card valid for Metrobus and subway can be purchased at Metrobus and subway stations. Rates Metro Card costs $10.00 pesos (recharge for the total amount of trips). Single trip: $ 30.00 pesos for one person, leaving the airport. Time of service: Monday to Friday, from 05:00 to 24:00 hours. Sundays and holidays: From 05:00 to 24:00 hours. The Metro has a network of 12 lines that run through a large part of the city. Traveling on these trains, you can go to the city center, bus terminals, tourist areas, the metropolitan zone and other sites of interest. Rates Single: trip fare is $5.00 pesos for subway Subway time of service: Business days, from 05:00 to 24:00 hours. Saturdays: From 06:00 to 24:00 hours. Uber is a safe alternative for foreign in late night travel when train and buses can be few and far between. Uber only accept credit and debits cards. The rates for Uber are as follows: Initial fare.......................$35.00 pesos The cost of the travel is variable; it depends on the distance and the time that the service required. Handle variable rate that can double or triple the price of the trip. Money The majority of ATMs (Automated Teller Machines) networks in Mexico City are linked to a network that most likely includes your bank at home. Hence, you would be able to make a cash withdrawal if you have a cash card (ATM Card) that offers Cirrus (www.mastercard.com/atmlocator/index.jsp) or Plus (www.visa.com/atm), the 2 most popular networks. There are fees and daily limits associated with withdrawing money using the above networks. Be sure to keep a record of their serial numbers, so you are ensured a refund in case they are lost or stolen. The 3 most popular travelers cheques providers are American Express (American Express branches www.americanexpress.com), Visa (Citibank branches), MasterCard (Thomas Cook Currency Services). Credit Cards are a convenient way to pay for transactions. Visa, Master Card are accepted virtually everywhere in Mexico. American Express is accepted in some places.
