Malik Grove (5‐11, 175|QB|Cincinnati, Ohio—Lakota West HS): Set several records at Lakota West while playing for Head Coach Larry Cox…a two time team captain, twice earned First Team All Greater Miami Conference honors, and twice earned All‐District honorable mention honors…threw for 1,262 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing for 740 yards and ran for 16 scores…is the school’s all‐time leader in passing yards, rushing yards for a quarterback, and has the most wins for a QB in Lakota West history…son of Jerry and Gina Grove. Emmanuel Smith (5‐8, 175|WR|Belle Glades, Fla.—Park Vista HS): A two‐time First Team All District 11A and two time First Team All Conference performer for Head Coach Brian Dodd’s squad…an all purpose threat, with 560 yards receiving, 240 yards rushing, and 11 total touchdowns…tallied 1,098 all purpose yards…also lettered in track and holds the school record in the 40, and vertical…son of Affonzo and Nadede McKenzie. Sha’haun Williams (6‐3, 235|DE|Youngstown, Ohio – Youngstown Ursuline HS): Earned all District and All State honors for three consecutive seasons (2011, 2012, 2013)…earned Team defensive MVP honors on Head Coach Larry Kempte’s team in 2012 and 2013, and was named team MVP in 2013…in his final two seasons, he tallied 28 sacks, 105 tackles, including 13 for a loss, while blocking two punts and forcing a trio of fumbles…earned invites to both the Ohio North vs. South All Star Game, and the Mahoning County vs. Trumbull County All Star Game…son of Marcus and Theresa Williams. Keshun Horton(6‐0, 210|LB| Cincinnati, Ohio—Northwest HS): Earned First Team All Southwest Conference honors while playing for Head Coach Nate Mahon at Northwest HS…also earned All District Honorable mention honors…son of Candice Booker. Darius Johnson (5‐11, 170|WR|Cincinnati, Ohio—Northwest HS): Was a first team All Conference performer at Northwest HS for Head Coach Nate Mahon…earned Second Team All District honors as well, after hauling in 60 passes for 897 yards and 15 touchdowns…was also a team captain. Ly’Ron Wilson (5‐10, 170|RB|Massillon, Ohio—Massillon‐Washington HS): Ran for 1,129 yards and nine touchdowns for Jason Hall’s Tigers…earned Second Team All District honors…also earned a pair of letters in Track & Field…son of Lynn and Tomm Wilson. Shaun Jones Jr. (6‐0, 220|LB|Detroit, Mich. –Brother Rice HS): A three‐year letter winner for Head Coach Al Fracassa’s team, which earned three MHSAA Division 2 State Championships…played on a 14‐0 team his senior year, where he registered 70 tackles, forced five fumbles, had one interception, and earned First Team All Catholic League honors…son of Shaun and Eboni Jones. Anthony Shumpert (5‐11, 205|RB|East Cleveland, Ohio—Shaw HS): A two time All Lake Erie League selection while playing for Head Coach Rodney Brown at Shaw HS…was a four year letterman in football, and earned three varsity letters in Track & Field…a team captain and an honors student…son of Tangala Simpson. Kerrell Johnson (5‐10, 170|CB|Youngstown, Ohio—Austintown‐Fitch HS): Had an outstanding senior year for Head Coach Phil Annarella’s team, which finished 12‐1 and advanced to the third round of the playoffs…registered 45 tackles, 10 interceptions and had 12 pass break‐ups…earned All Northeast Ohio Honorable Mention honors…had 30 tackles, a pair of sacks and an interception his Junior year…son of Tanya Worth and Kerwin Johnson. Tony Hajjaar (6‐3, 265|OL|Hilliard, Ohio—Hillard HS): A two year letterman and starter at both guard positions for Head Coach John Santagata’s squad…a team captain on a team that went 8‐3 his senior year and secured a playoff berth…on the interior of the offensive line, he helped pave the way for a rushing attack that totaled 2,623 yards on the ground and 32 touchdowns…A First Team All Ohio Capital Conference performer, earned All District Special Mention and in 2012 earned All OCC Special Mention honors. Ronnie Humphrey (6‐1, 270|OL|Massillon, Ohio—Massillon Washington HS): A three‐year letter winner for Head Coach Jason Hall’s Tigers, who went 8‐2 in the regular season before losing in the second round of the playoffs…also earned a varsity letter in Track and Field…son of Ronnie and Leeann Humphrey. Brian Walker (5‐9, 225|RB|Pontiac, Mich. –Brother Rice HS): A three time MHSSA Division 2 State Champion while playing for Head Coach Al Fracassa…had a big impact on a team that went 13‐0 his senior year, where he ran for 879 yards on 144 carries and 14 touchdowns…also lettered in basketball…son of Earvin and Barbara Walker. Joey Fodor (6‐6, 210|DE|Chardon, Ohio – Chardon HS): A disruptive force on the defensive line for Head Coach Mitch Hewitt’s Hilltoppers…registered 70 tackles, and 11 sacks his senior year…earned First Team All Premier Athletic Conference, First Team All District, and First Team All Geauga County Honors, while also earning Second Team All News‐Herald and All State Honorable Mention Accolades…earned a trio of varsity letters in both Football and Basketball…son of Joe and Diana Fodor. Connor Krouse (6‐2, 190|QB|Novelty, Ohio –West Geauga HS): A dual threat quarterback at West Geauga HS, where he earned three varsity letters for Head Coach Lou Cirino…a team captain, earned several awards after an outstanding senior season with the Wolverines…threw for 1,371 yards, ran for 1,352 yards, and totaled 34 touchdowns…earned First Team All District Accolades, as well as First Team News Herald Honors, and Second Team All State honors…was named the Offensive MVP of the Geauga County Touchdown Club…son of Lynn Krouse. Antwain Hamilton (5‐7, 170|RB|Solon, Ohio—Solon HS): A First Team All Northeast Ohio Conference, and First Team All District performer his senior year, after rushing for 1,200 yards and 18 touchdowns for Head Coach Jim McQuade’s Comets…earned four varsity letters in Track & Field, and three in football…son of Antwain and Temeca Hamilton. Tyrel Hill (6‐0, 175|CB|Pittsburgh, Pa.—Shady Side Academy): A three‐year letterman for Head Coach Dale Havern…earned First Team All Allegheny Conference accolades after totaling 52 tackles, four interceptions, forcing three fumbles and came away with four touchdowns his senior year…earned Allegheny Conference Scholar Athlete honors after making the High Honor Roll his junior and senior year…son of Troy and Tiffany Hill. Alex Hollifield (6‐1, 180|WR|Louisville, Ohio—Louisville HS): Earned a pair of varsity letters while playing for Head Coach John Demarco…earned All Northeastern Buckeye Conference honors…also lettered in both Baseball and Basketball…son of Keri and David Hollifield. Cory Roberson (6‐3, 190|QB|Cincinnati, Ohio –Northwest HS): A First Team All District, and First Team All Southwest Conference selection for Head Coach Nate Mahon at Northwest HS…also earned All State Honorable Mention honors, after throwing for 2,245 yards, 31 touchdowns and ran for six scores as well…son of Joe and Saundra Roberson. Michael Fellers (5‐11, 170|WR/P|Troy, Ohio—Miami East HS): A team captain and a multi‐purpose threat for Head Coach Max Current’s Vikings…was named Special Teams Player of the Year in the Cross County Conference, while earning First Team All Conference Accolades as well…Earned First Team All‐ Districat honors and Special Mention All State honors…hauled in 26 passes for 602 yards and caught 10 touchdown passes, while rushing for 539 yards and a dozen rushing touchdowns…holds the career record at Miami East for most points scored, most receiving touchdowns in a single season, most career kickoff return yards, and most kickoff touchbacks in his career…also named to the US Air Force First Team as a Punter…son of Brandon and Tricia Fellers. Keonte Chambers (6‐1, 255|DL|Cincinnati, Ohio—Northwest HS): Earned First Team All Southwest Ohio Conference honors, First Team All District Honors, and All State Honorable Mention Accolades…a team captain for Head Coach Nate Mahon’s squad…also named a Cincinnati Enquirer All‐Star…son of Tiffany and Bryan Jones. John Cole (6‐0, 275|OL|Dayton, Ohio—Trotwood Madison HS): Played on four Great Western Ohio Conference Championship teams and one State Championship team while playing for Head Coach Mo Douglas…son of Tinita Cole. Vincent Ellis (6‐3, 190|DE|Cleveland, Ohio—John Hay HS): Registered 60 tackles, and 20 sacks for Head Coach Rodney Decipeda’s Hornets…earned First Team All Senate League honors, and was named Team Defensive MVP…son of Maurice and Carla Ellis. Nick Adams (5‐11, 165|WR|Crestline, Ohio – Colonel Crawford HS): A three‐year letter winner on a team that made back‐to‐back playoff appearances while playing for Head Coach Ryan Teglovic…earned First Team All North Central Conference honors First Team All OHSFCA honors and Second Team All District honors with 545 yards receiving and seven touchdowns…third on the school’s all‐time list with 1,123 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns…also lettered in Baseball…son of Kelly Schafer and Aaron Adams.
