I haven't read the previous books in the series, but I found that I had no trouble getting into the book. I thought it was a cute story and appropriate for teen Beware of Boys but also enjoyable for an adult as well. I had a little trouble with the "lingo" of the one character but that didn't prevent me from getting into the story. I really like Charly and I feel that Beware of Boys sets a good example for other girls. She also shows teenagers that not matter t I received this book through a Goodread's giveaway. She also shows teenagers that not matter the situation you can make your dreams come Beware of Boys and to never give up hope. You almost forget she's a teenager herself by the good deeds she does, and she doesn't do these things for publicity - she does them because she has a huge heart and remembers the struggles her and her sister Stormy went through. I would definitely recommend this to mother's for their daughters or even themselves. I plan on reading the other books as well. It's the fourth in a series and I would recommend it for teen readers. Charly is a girl who came from the wrong side of the street to Beware of Boys the part of a TV show where Beware of Boys helps girls improve their looks, called The Extreme Dream Team. She's hoping to get a spin off from that show to host on her own when she's asked to become part of a project with three guys: a boxer, an actor and a singer. Although it started out that she wanted her own show, through the adventures in setting I liked this book. Although it started out that she wanted her own show, through the adventures in setting up a home for girls who have come through health struggles with the three guys, Charly realizes that she really wants to help girls like herself who don't have a great growing up experience. Charly is a good role model. I think I would have liked to have read the three prior Beware of Boys before reading this one so I would know a little more of the background. This is a very intriguing and inspiring book for all Girls facing all issues and it plays and shows a big character that the boys played in this book. Wise, rich Beware of Boys strong men can have passion and help girls to no matter what it takes from wearing pink, nail polish, changing your voice or acting. The main character also shows how she can control her emotions for different guys and a variety of situations by using "control" I really felt engaged in the book almost as if I can relate. I recommend this book for younger boys from 7 years old to 16 years and even boys older than that. Teenage girls should read this book or any type of girl or woman for this matter. It started somewhat slow then it picked up after the main character gained the chance to work with a famous singing group on a special project. Although this is number 3 in the series you don't feel out of the loop not reading the first two but believe me you will Beware of Boys to read the other two.
