The Tryall Club in Montego Bay on the Caribbean island of Jamaica provides a unique experience for guests offering a selection of fully staffed villas delivering true Jamaican hospitality that are located within the 2,200 acre resort. Each villa is privately owned, and the villa accommodation ranges from cosy one bedroom suites for two, oceanfront beach houses and luxury villas set amidst the hills commanding amazing views. The villas at The Tryall Club are ideal for all groups of families and friends with options up to 9 bedrooms available. The variety of on-site facilities and amenities allows you to create unforgettable holiday memories.
The staff at the villas are there to ensure you relax and enjoy your villa holiday in Jamaica. There is a store on site for grocery items, which the villa staff can pick up for you if you prefer. All your laundry will to taken care of, washed and ironed as required. Where there is a butler or head of house they are able to arrange activities, ie golf, tennis or maybe one of beach dinner events held twice a week on the resort. There is also a weekly Cocktail party that all guests at the Tryall Club are invited to where everyone can meet other guests and enjoy an evening of typical Jamaican hospitality. Your personal chef is on hand to prepare delicious menus to suit your dietary preferences.
Once you have chosen the best villa for you at The Tryall Club and when you travel date draws near we will liaise and arrange the groceries needed for your first arrival meal and first breakfast, as well as stocking the villa with your favourites.
Thereafter, the chef will discuss and agree menus with each day to suit everyone using some local ingredients, many grown in the villas’ own kitchen garden and also decide where to dine within your luxury villa. When you check-in you can open an account with a credit card so you can charge for any groceries, meals at the restaurants, any activities arranged etc and the account can be settled when you leave. Guests are free to explore the Club’s Organic Garden where the produce is used in the Beach Restaurant; and Great House Restaurant.
Kid’s Club at The Tryall Club is located next to the Tennis Pro-Shop – offering a variety of activities to keep children entertained. There are also experienced Penn State certified nannies available at an extra charge.
The extensive natural space within the Tryall Club includes steep hills and ocean views, making it ideal for those who like an early morning walk or jog, passing the wonderful flora and fauna or do a little bird spotting in the four different habitats – woodlands, pond, riparian and grassland that boast over 60 species.
The focal point of The Tryall Club is the 19th century Great House which sits on the hill-top, taking full advantage of the panoramic views from west to east. It is also the place to take afternoon tea, a tradition since the 1930’s served each day at 4pm. Here, there is a reception, guest services, children’s games room, the bar for a pre-dinner drink or to sample Jamaica’s vintage rum or a freshly made cocktail. Beauty Salon is within The Great House where guests can choose from a range of hair and beauty treatments. Body treatments at the villas can be arranged by appointment. The Boutique is beside the entrance to the Great House to purchase classic resort wear, Cuban cigars, books and souvenir items
The Beach Restaurant provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere for dining alongside the sea for lunch or dinner. The Beach Bar is directly on the sand of the Tryall Club beach.
The Beach Grill and piazza is located directly above the beach, where popular Jamaican dishes such as jerk pork or chicken, plus salads and burgers are served. There is a pizza oven, and the Pizzaiolo Chef bakes fresh pizza which can also be delivered to the villa.
Whilst relaxing on the beach, there is a beach service for both drinks and food, plus Sin Ting Beachy hut to purchase items such as sun-screen, beach toys for children and ice creams. Craft vendors exhibit sculpture, carvings or paintings, a Jamaican memento to take home.
Entertainment at the Tryall Club includes various Theme Nights, such as Reggae Beach party and warm Caribbean evenings.
Golf at the Tryall Club is an important and popular part of the estate. The challenging course twists and winds its way down to the coastline and is considered as one of the Caribbean’s finest. All are welcome to play, whether you are a beginner or experienced player and there is a Golf Academy for expert tuition available on request.
The Beach Club area, on the edge of the dazzling Caribbean sea, bordered by palm trees for shade is ideal for water sports and there is a stunning zero-entry heated infinity-edge swimming pool. The smaller Quiet Beach is located directly opposite the Driving Range and to the east of the Beach Restaurant for people seeking a little more tranquillity.
The Water Sport facilities include kayak, paddle board, glass bottom boat ride and Hobie Cats which are offered at an extra charge. The Tryall Club’s off-shore reef is perfect for Divers and snorkelers. A full PADI scuba diving programme is available at an extra cost. There is also a choice of motorized sports such as water skiing, tubing, banana boat rides etc Fishing Trips can also be arranged at an extra cost
Wellness & Fitness at the Tryall Club – relax in the natural environment with the sound of the birdsong in the background creating calm and peace or on the coastline to listen to the waves wash up on the shore.
