What does Georgetown mean to you?

There is a sort of pride that comes along with being a Hoya athlete. It is the unspoken connectedness that all past and present Georgetown student-athletes share.

What does being part of this team —- Ashley Darcy, Junior mean to you?

We are a close-knit—- Nicoleteam thatDepalma, plays Captain, Senior for ourselves, our coaches, and most importantly, for our teammates.

Why did you chose Georgetown as your college of choice? I chose Georgetown because I knew I would receive the best education possible and the chance to experience collegiate athletics at the same time. Georgetown students have the best of both worlds, living on a small, tight-knit campus, but having the entire city within walking distance.

What do you like most about being a student —- Casey McCann, Captain, Senior athlete here? The best thing about being a student athlete is that there is an instant connection with the other athletes because we are all in similar situations where time for fun is tight. So there are a number of students that understand each other through this time commitment creating a small community within the student population.
