Since arriving at Marst for the start of the 2002-03 season, Giorgis has taken the Red Foxes from a team struggling to reach .500 to national prominence. With his first team in 2002-03, a squad which had lost the fourth and fifth leading scorers in program history to graduation the prior year, Giorgis improved the Red Foxes’ win total from 11 to 13. Marist also earned its first win in a MAAC Tournament game in school history with a first round triumph over Loyola.
