Selling hotdogs started over 25 years ago, back in the former school. Hotdog day was created to raise money for the Special Ed students, and was such a success that the tradition carries on today. You’ve probably seen a tall guy with golden locks walking around the school and smiling at every passer-byer in the hall; that’s Scott. He now works with the Special Ed students, but a long time ago he was a student at Sutherland, and even then he was volunteering with the Thursday hot dogs. The money raised goes to the Special Ed department and is used for field trips and to buy any supplies they need. Scott, with the help of several stu- dents, continues to sell hotdogs every Thursday. They are out there rain or shine. One day they were even selling hotdogs when it was -15 degrees C and the wind was blowing their tent away. Hotdogs are only three dollars with all the toppings included, and I promise that they will be the best hotdogs you ever eat. S, this Thursday head down Scott selling hotdogs on Thursday with a to the cafeteria and go and buy a hotdog! past student - Jessica Steward Volume VII, Issue II Page 3 Who is Justin Trudeau?
