Selkirk Rex Breeders & Exhibitors: This show will be featuring Selkirk Summit and a Selkirk Rex Breeder Enthusiasts dinner on Saturday night, March 30, 2019. Feline Agility: A CFA scored agility ring run by CFA ringmaster Jill Archibald will be held Saturday. Awards for top 5 cats will be presented. Show Hall: Our show hall is the Holshauser Building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. The address is: 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607. The show hall is heated but not air-conditioned. Parking is free. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the Fairgrounds property. A concession service will be available during show hours. There is no smoking in the showhall. Entry & Payment Information: Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to Midatlantic Persian and Himalayan Fanciers. PayPal is not available. All payments at check-in must be EXACT CASH only. No substitutions after closing. No refunds for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE CLOSING. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered , recorded Household , and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household color class prefix , and Agility will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number. Check in & Show Hours: Check in: Saturday 7:30-8:30 am. Cats not benched by end of check in will be marked absent. Judging starts at 9am. Advertised show hours are 9am – 4pm. Hotel Information: Quality Inn & Suites, RDU Airport - 1001 Aerial Center Pkwy, Morrisville, NC 27560. Call hotel directly at (919) 481-3600 and request booking in the "" group. Room rate is $59 for all room types. There is a$15 one-time-per-stay/non-refundable pet deposit. Hotel provides a free hot breakfast. The hotel also provides free transportation to/from the airport. Transportation is not available to/from the showhall. RV Overnight Parking: The North Carolina State Fairgrounds allows RVs to stay on the property for a fee. Accessibility: The Holshauser Building and Quality Inn meet ADA accessibility guidelines for ramps and wheelchair accessible facilities. Airport Information: Raleigh - Durham International Airport (RDU) is about 11 miles/15 minutes from the show hall. Household Pets: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Benching and supplies: A single cage (22x22x22) is provided for each cat entered. Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single cage. Double cages (22x22x45) are available upon request for an additional fee of $25. Since single width “wire” cages are unavailable, if you are bringing your own cage, even if only a single width cage, you must purchase a double cage space. A grooming space is the same size as a double cage space. Special benching requests will be honored to the best of our ability. For your cat’s comfort, the top, sides, and bottom of the cages must be covered. Vending from the benching area is prohibited. Litter will be provided, but please bring your own litter box. Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and . It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. A copy of the current show rules may be obtained for $7 from CFA, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. Liability: No watchman will be provided during non-show hours. Cats cannot be left in the show hall overnight. Midlantic Persian and Himalayan Fanciers will take reasonable care to safeguard the personal property of exhibitors; however, neither the club, its members nor the NC State Fairgrounds or Quality Inn will be liable for any loss, damage or injury to exhibitors or to their cats.

This show is being held in-conjunction with Vision Cat Club’s TICA-licensed show being held on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Not CFA registered? No problem. Cats entered in both shows will be benched once and will not need to tear down and move their benching between Saturday and Sunday.
