This year’s Farming God’s Way In-field Mentoring will once again be hosted in the greater Durban area (Hillcrest), Kwazulu , . If you are involved with training communities and would like to gain further practical experience and mentoring in Farming God’s Way, we would love for you to join us for a week of fun, fellowship and skills development as we serve some of the poor communities in South Africa.

Dates: Arrive on Sun afternoon 13th Oct and depart on Sat 19th Oct after lunch.

Location: Camp Orchards, Inanda Road, Hillcrest, 3650 GPS: 29°45'41.2"S 30°47'26.2"E

Delegates will be divided into several groups, ministering into different community sites concurrently for the week. Each team will have an accredited trainer overseeing it, a primary mentee who will do the bulk of the training, a secondary mentee who will support the primary mentee, and the rest of the team members all of whom will be involved throughout the extension week.

It is a great opportunity to experience Farming God’s Way implementation amongst the poor and will really give you a heart for the work and allow you to build relationships with the team from amongst the nations.

Itinerary: Sunday: Arrival after lunch, early afternoon. Introduction and group allocations Monday: Farming God’s Way Team training and orientation Tuesday: Community Training Wednesday: Community Training Thursday: Community Training Friday: Community Practical Implementation Saturday: Closing and accreditation ceremony in morning. Teams leave after lunch.

Transport: You will need to get to the site using your own mode of transport.

There are daily flights into King International , Durban Possible local airlines are SAA, , Kulula, British Airways and Safair Please note that this airport is on the outskirts of Durban, north of the , and quite a distance from the accommodation site, so one will need to hire a car or take a taxi/ to the actual accommodation site. Distance from the airport to Hillcrest is approximately 65km.

The drive to Hillcrest from is around 6 hours.

Accommodation and Meals: Our host site for the week will be Camp Orchards, Inanda Road, Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. It is located off the highway to Durban. GPS coordinates: 29°45’39.31”S / 30°47’26.27”E We will be accommodated in rooms on the property equipped with mattresses and bedding. All meals starting with Sunday supper and ending with Saturday lunch are included in the costs.

Costs: The cost for the week includes accommodation, all meals, as well as transport costs from the accommodation to the community training sites during the week. The payment must be paid in full, before the training, in order to secure your place. For delegates in South Africa who are able to pay via EFT, the cost is R2500. International delegates are able to pay via PayPal in dollars. The cost is around $210 Further details will be given to you on registration.

Resources will be made available for purchase during the training time but it is preferable to pre-order stock to ensure you get what you want. We would also prefer to handle as little cash on site as possible.
