Year 7 & 8 students wear school uniform Monday to Friday and change into PE uniform for lesson only BLAZER – School Blazers are available for purchase, these must be ordered through the front office WINTER – plain blue or black scarf. No ‘beanies’ or alternative headwear JEWELLERY – Discreet jewellery such as studs, small sleepers, watch, one plain chain. No fashion or costume jewellery. No dangling earrings or hoop. No mirrored sunglasses. No mirrored sunglasses. ACCESS CAP - navy blue UNIFORM (VIOLATION) PROCEDURE Student Out of Uniform with a Note 1. Roll teacher initials note from home and keeps in roll 2. Record sheet updated a. Students regularly out of uniform with a note referred to roll call HT. 3. Yellow card completed and given to student a. Year 12 students with note - yellow card completed by year DP Student Out of Uniform without a Note 1. Roll teacher issues red card for student wearing incorrect uniform 2. Roll Teacher places their section of red card in uniform box in sign on room for collation. a. Three red cards over 2 terms > roll call HT will issue an After School Detention (ASD). 3. For each red card issued after the initial three then HT to issue an ASD. 4. Recidivist students out of uniform without a note are escalated to their relevant year DP via STAN. Playground Procedure 1. Head Teachers and Deputy Principals only may issue red cards in the playground. PE/Sport Uniform During Thursday sport all students must adhere to the correct sport uniform as outlined in the uniform code. Students wearing incorrect sport uniform are to have red cards issued. Students may wear sports uniform home if they have PE during period 5. PE staff will deal with PE/Sport uniform violations during PE lessons. General Information All staff need to be familiar with the Uniform Code and be vigilant (including issuing red cards) in monitoring student uniform during regular classes. Roll call teachers need check students during roll call and distribute yellow cards or red cards accordingly to students. Head Teachers are responsible for roll call spot checks and student follow up (including interviews and communication with home) when red cards necessitate the allocation of an ASD or escalation to the Deputy Principal. Deputy Principals are responsible for the overall monitoring of the Uniform Code, administering red and yellow cards to students and communicating school uniform expectations to parents. .
