Qualifying Tournament Shipco Masters, European Senior Tour Qualifying Tournament ABOUT THE SHIPCO MASTERS for the The Shipco Masters is part of the European Senior Tour with a prize fund Shipco Masters, of €350,000 (DKK 2.6 million). There will be a total field of 60 players with everyone playing 3 rounds of 18 holes each day from 1st - 3rd June 2018 at European Senior Tour, Simon’s Golf Club. Pro-Am Tournaments will be held on the 30th & 31st May Simon’s Golf Club, Denmark for sponsors and their guests. 30th April – 1st May 2018 The Shipco Masters is being held in celebration of Simon’s Golf Club’s 25th anniversary. A birthday tournament for club members will be held on the weekend prior to Shipco Masters. In connection with the European Senior Tour event, Shipco Masters, 1-3 June 2018 in Denmark there will be a qualifying Tournament organised by Simon’s Golf Club from the 30th April – 1st of May for 5 places in the main tournament. Apart from the Senior Open this will be the first time where anyone who is not already eligible can qualify directly for an event on the European Senior Tour, and play alongside golfing legends such as Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam and Laura Davies. “With this initiative Simon’s Golf Club wants to give more players the chance to test themselves against some of the best in the world. The Qualifying Tournament is open to men over the age of 50 and we expect players not just from Denmark but players from other countries to give it a go." Simon’s Golf Club, Denmark The largest European Senior Tour tournament in Denmark. 30th April – 1st May 2018 Simon’s Golf Club - First Club, hosted by the European Tour, Ladies European Tour, the European Challenge Tour and the European Senior Tour. The 27 hole course, split into three loops of nine, was designed by renowned golf course architect, Martin Hawtree. A composite routing, incorporating holes from each of the three loops will, be used for the Shipco Masters. Shipco Masters is part of the European Senior Tour with a prize fund of € 350,000 (DKK 2.6 million). Only the professionals are able to win cash prizes. The participant field is 60 players in total, and everyone will play 3 rounds of 18 holes per day from INVITATION 1st – 3rd June 2018 Simon’s Golf Club. Pro-Am tournaments will be held on the 30th and 31st of May for sponsors and their guests. WHERE: Simon’s Golf Club, Nybovej 5, 3490 Kvistgaard, Denmark ORGANISERS: Simon’s Golf Club WHO: Men over 50 years of age with a maximum handicap of 10 will be eligible to participate, both amateurs and professionals. The entry fee includes 18 holes on the 30th April and 18 holes on the 1st May, and one free practice round in the week leading up to the Qualifying Tournament (23rd - 29th April). FORMAT: 36 hole stroke play scratch. QUALIFYING PLACES: The five best players after 36 holes of stroke play will qualify to play in the Shipco Masters 1st – 3rd June 2018. In the event of a tie for the 5th place there will be a “sudden death” play off immediately after play has ended.     Policies and Procedures Application Fee The professional registration fee for the LPGA T&CP National Championship is $375 before July 4th/ $400 after July 4th. The registration fee includes three rounds of competition with golf carts, one practice round during the official practice round days, unlimited use of practice facility, an exclusive LPGA player gift package and an invitation to the LPGA Reception. LPGA Eligibility Eligible Players: Except as set forth below, all Master Professional, Class A, Class B, Apprentice, Life, Senior, Class A-2, Class B-2 and Class A-T members, who are in good standing and are not suspended from membership privileges, shall be eligible to play in Membership tournaments. Ineligible Players: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the LPGA T&CP Bylaws, the following members are not eligible to play in Membership tournaments: 1. Honorary, Retired, Affiliate, Inactive and Active Association Tournament Division members; 2. Any member (other than a Class A-T member) who has competed in seven or more LPGA Tour co-sponsored or approved tournaments, Symetra Tour sanctioned tournaments, Legends Tour tournaments or tournaments on any professional tour outside the United States, in each case excluding qualifying tournaments (all of the foregoing collectively referred to as “Counted Tournaments”), in the aggregate, during the twelve months immediately preceding the tournament in which she is seeking entry; and 3. The NEPGA Tournament Committee shall list, in detail through the use of this document, the conditions for playing specific types of events for the sole purpose of preventing any misunderstandings as to how each event is to be conducted. NEPGA Tournaments allow our members to compete and develop camaraderie with fellow professionals and encourage goodwill through our Pro-Am Events. ARTICLE II Tournament Committee: Definition and Duties Section 1. Definition Of (a) The New England Section Tournament Committee shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, Honorary President, Tournament Chairman(s) and all members of the Executive Committee of the New England Section PGA. (b) The Chairman of the Tournament Committee shall be appointed by the President on the approval of the Executive Committee. Section 2. Duties and Responsibilities (a) It is the responsibility of the Tournament Committee to adopt specific Rules and Regulations and to conduct the Association's Tournaments in a most practical and professional manner. The Rules and Regulations are subject to revision or amendment by the Tournament Committee whenever, in the judgment of said Committee, such actions are necessary. (b) Once conditions of play are accepted by the NEPGA Tournament Committee, the Tournament must be conducted according to the Section's Regulations set forth for the playing of that specific event. (c) The Tournament Committee shall distribute a schedule of events.
