We are excited about the event and the privilege of hosting some of the top collegiate players and teams from around the country. We are hopeful that you will enjoy the challenges and thrills of the wonderful golf course that Pete Dye built for us. Crooked Stick has a rich history in terms of world-class championship golf. We began our relationship with the USGA by hosting the 1982 Boys Junior Championship and have since hosted five additional USGA Championships including the 1993 U.S. Women’s Open and most recently the 2009 U.S. Senior Open. John Daly’s historic win in the 1991 PGA Championship, the United States victory in the 2005 Solheim Cup along with the BMW Championship in 2012 and 2106 have also been highlights of the Club’s competitive golf history. As you can see hosting major golf events and testing the best players in the world under championship conditions is one of the goals of our membership. We are pleased to continue that tradition by hosting this Collegiate Invitational. It is our hope that players, coaches and spectators have a wonderful experience here at Crooked Stick. While it’s late in our golf season, we are confident the golf course will be challenging and enjoyable. Lastly and most importantly I hope you will please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable.
