From Glasgow: Take M8 to Junction 28A following signs for Irvine A737. Continue on this road for 8 miles to Roadhead Roundabout, picking up the brown sign posting as you turn right onto A760 Largs road. After 1 mile, in Lochwinnoch, turn off the A760 at the traffic lights onto the B786 Lochwinnoch to Kilmacolm Road into Main Street. Go to the end of Main Street and turn right, before the hill starts, at the Corner Bar on to St Winnoc Road. Take second left immediately after passing under bridges. This is Castle Semple Centre Car Park. The Visitor Centre is at the end of the car park.

From Erskine Bridge: Take M8 towards Glasgow to Junction 29, at St James Interchange follow signs for Irvine A737. Continue on this road for 8 miles to Roadhead Roundabout, continue as above.

From Irvine: Take the A737 towards Paisley to the Roadhead Roundabout, 2 miles beyond Beith, picking up the brown sign posting as you turn left onto A760 Largs road, continue as above.

From Greenock: Take the A8 to Roundabout at Ferguson’s Shipyard/Newark Castle, Port Glasgow. Take the A761 to Kilmacolm. At the crossroads in Kilmacolm turn right onto the B786 Kilmacolm to Lochwinnoch Road. Continue on B786 into Lochwinnoch. At the bottom of the Johnshill, turn left at the Corner Bar into St Winnoc Road. Take second left immediately after passing under bridges. This is Castle Semple Centre Car Park. The Visitor Centre is at the end of the car park.
