    Press Release Hikma provides update on status of ANDA for generic Advair Diskus® London, 22 September 2020 – Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC (Hikma or the Group), the multinational pharmaceutical company, announces that it has received a minor complete response letter (CRL) from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in relation to its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for its generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s Advair Diskus®1 (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder). Hikma is working closely with the FDA to quickly address the small number of questions raised in the CRL. Once answered, Hikma can expect to receive a response from the FDA within 90 days. Hikma now expects to receive approval for its generic Advair Diskus® in early 2021. As a result, Generics revenue is now anticipated to be in the range of $710 million to $730 million and core operating margin to be in the range of 18% to 19% for 2020 full year.     Press Release Hikma launches Nicardipine Hydrochloride premixed injection in ready to use bags London, 4 May 2020 – Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC (Hikma, Group), the multinational pharmaceutical company, has launched Nicardipine Hydrochloride in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection bags in 200mL, the generic version of Cardene®1, in the United States through its US affiliate, Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. Nicardipine Hydrochloride Injection is indicated for the short-term treatment of hypertension when oral therapy is not feasible or desirable. For prolonged control of blood pressure, patients are transferred to oral medication as soon as their clinical condition permits. According to IQVIA, US sales of Nicardipine Hydrochloride in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, 200mL, were approximately $82 million in the 12 months ending January 2020. “Nicardipine Hydrochloride Injection is an important medicine used to treat hypertension and Hikma is proud to introduce the first generic Nicardipine in ready to use bags,” said Riad Mishlawi, President of Injectables. “Hikma also markets Nicardipine in 10mL vials and we are pleased to expand our portfolio with this launch, broadening the choice of medicines available to hospitals.” Hikma is the third largest US supplier of generic injectable medicines by volume, with a growing portfolio of over 100 products.     Hikma Founder and Honorary Life President Samih Darwazah passes away London, 18 May 2015 – Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC (“Hikma”) (LSE: HIK) (NASDAQ Dubai: HIK) (OTC: HKMPY), the fast growing multinational pharmaceuticals company, is deeply saddened to announce that Samih Darwazah, Hikma’s Founder and Honorary Life President, passed away peacefully on Friday, 15 May, in London at the age of 85. Mr. Darwazah was a politician, a philanthropist, an entrepreneur and a business leader that founded Hikma, a company that recently entered the FTSE100 index and now employs 7,000 people bringing affordable medicines to the world. Mr. Darwazah founded Hikma in 1978 in Amman, Jordan. His vision was to bring high quality and affordable medicines to the world. With the help of his children, who joined the business in its early days, Hikma grew from a small factory in Jordan into the largest regional supplier of pharmaceuticals in the Middle East and North Africa (“MENA”) region. The company also expanded outside the MENA region, establishing successful operations in Europe and the United States. Today Hikma operates in around 50 countries, selling a broad range of branded generics, generic injectables, non-injectable generics and in-licensed patented products. In 2005, the company floated on the London Stock Exchange and in March 2015 it entered the FTSE 100 index. Mr. Darwazah was born in Nablus in 1930. One of several children, his family lived in Jaffa, where his father was a merchant, for most of his childhood. In 1948, the Darwazah family left their ancestral home and moved to Jordan. Mr. Darwazah went to study at the American University of Beirut (“AUB”), where he met and married his wife, Samira, a fellow AUB student.
