Born and raised in Mount Laurel, , Victor attended St. Joe’s Prep. He led the football team to their first championship in 20 years in 1997, and was voted the Catholic league’s best all-around player. At the Prep, he started at both middle linebacker and tight end. His 6-2, 215 pound frame earned him the nickname “Big Dog.”

Among almost 40 Division I offers, he chose to attend his lifetime favorite school, the University of Michigan, where he started 39 of 49 games. After his senior year at Michigan, he was listed as the number 2 out of 34 linebacker prospects. In 2003, Victor was drafted in the second round of the NFL draft by the , where he played for five seasons. He also played for the and the . During his NFL career, Victor achieved 344 tackles, 11 sacks and 3 .

In the Jesuit way, Victor and his wife, L’Tesia Tee Ashira, started the Hobson & Hobson outreach program in 2006. They have pledged millions to set up homes in the United States and abroad for children and adults with special needs.
