Attachment Component Description: Roof Deck to Supports: Roof deck shall be anchored to the structural supports with one of the following methods:

1. Fastener Size: Site specific design by Design Professional Fastener Type: Self-tapping sheet metal Standard: Factory Mutual approved Corrosion Resistance: Per FBC Section 1507.4.4

2. Fastener Size: Site specific design by Design Professional Fastener Type: Power-driven fastener Standard: Factory Mutual approved Corrosion Resistance: Per FBC Section 1507.4.4

3. Welding: Quality welding procedure Weld Type & Size: Site specific design by Design Professional Standard: American National Standards Institute / American Welding Society Standard (ANSI/AWS) D1.3, “Structural Welding Code⎯Sheet Steel”.

Panel to Panel, Side Lap Stitching: Side laps shall be secured with the following: Fastener Size: # 8 x 1”, minimum Fastener Type: Self-tapping screws Corrosion Resistance: Per FBC Section 1507.4.4 Standard: Factory Mutual Approved or per SAE J78-1979.

Installation: A. Roof Deck to Supports: 1. Attachment to Support: At every support 2. Attachment Spacing: Per site specific design but no greater than 12” o.c.

B. Panel to Panel, Side Lap Stitching: 1. Attach at every support. 2. Attach at mid spans. 3. Maximum fastener spacing: 3 ft. o.c.

Install the system in compliance with the attached installation method. Refer to manufacturer’s installation instructions as a supplemental guide for attachment.

Quality Assurance: The manufacturer has demonstrated compliance of roof panel products in accordance with the Florida Building Code and Rule 9B-72.070 (3) for manufacturing under a quality assurance program audited by an approved quality assurance entity through FM Approvals, Norwood, MA (FBC Organization Number: QUA1860).

Performance Standards: The product described herein has been tested in accordance with: • FM 4450 (1992) – Approval Standard for Class I Insulated Steel Deck Roofs - with Supplements through July 1992 • AISI SG02⎯1 - American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) North American Specification for the Design of Cold-Formed Steel Structural Members (AISI-NASPEC)

Code Compliance: The product described herein has demonstrated compliance with the Florida Building Code 2004, (with 2005 and 2006 Supplements) Sections 1609.7.1 and 2209.1.

Evaluation Report Scope: This product evaluation is limited to compliance with the structural wind load requirements of the Florida Building Code, as related to Rule 9B-72.

System Limitations: The required design wind loads shall be determined for each project per FBC, 2004, Section 1603.1.4. Any rational analysis computations shall consider web crippling and fastener pullout/pullover per AISI Cold-Formed Steel specification and prepared by a qualified design professional as required by FBC 2004, Sections 104, 105, 106. The maximum attachment and support spacing listed herein shall not be exceeded. Diaphragm capacity is outside the scope of this evaluation. This product is not approved for use in the High Velocity Hurricane
