Thirty years later, their daughter, Brenda and her husband, Pat ’87, would follow in their footsteps to serve as missionaries to Botswana, 63 eventually transitioning to serve in Greece and Italy. Through fundraising efforts, students raised $24,000 in a matter of days and then put together 1,000 hygiene kits to be sent to those impacted by the storm in the Bahamas.     DustyRHODES Head Coach (20th Season) X 13 Conference Championships • 5 World Series Appearances • 16 Postseason Appearances ow entering his 20th season at the helm of the Ospreys, Nhead coach Dusty Rhodes has guided the program from NAIA, to NCAA Division II, and most recently to NCAA Division I - all the while building UNF into a nationally recognized baseball powerhouse. Rhodes has compiled an 802- 332 record through 19 seasons, guiding UNF to 16 postseason appearances, including five World Series appearances, four district championships while in NAIA and six conference championships in NCAA Division II. In 2004, he topped the 1,000- win career mark, and now holds an all-time record of 1,106-449. He was named Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005 and South Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in 2000, 2001 and 2005.     JUST THE FACTS A brief look at who we are in 2014-2015 The mission of Warner University is to graduate individuals who exemplify academic excellence and Christian character, who are prepared to lead and committed to serve. Warner University’s liberal arts curriculum prepares students to successfully meet the demands of today’s workplace and the challenges of graduate school. Graduates emerge as servant leaders who evaluate issues from a Christian perspective while striving to live out their belief in their communities, churches and homes. The administration, faculty and staff are qualified in their areas of service, and dedicated to the ministry of higher education. History: Warner University was founded in 1968 by the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana, as a liberal arts co- educational, Christian university. The campus was built on 300 acres was donated by Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Holland. The first commencement took place in 1972 with four graduates. Only two presidents have led Warner University. Dr. Leroy Fulton was the first president. Dr. Gregory V. Hall has led Warner as its second president since 1991. Horn brings a wealth of experience in critical leadership roles in collegiate athletics. He will galvanize the athletic team around a renewed sense of purpose and mission while also serving as part of FMU’s leadership team and fostering greater student success with his motto, W.G.G. – Win, Grow and Graduate. “We are delighted to have such an experienced leader who is highly respected in his field and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. He will help us ascend to the next level of competitiveness and excellence in athletics” said Florida Memorial University President Dr. Jaffus Hardrick. Horn's professional career spans nearly 30 years in athletics, marketing and promotions. His experiences include working with organizations such as the Detroit Pistons, the NBA Development League (now G-League), the University of Central Florida, the University of Miami, Conference USA, and the Olympic Winter and Summer Games. Horn most recently served as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics & Recreation at Xavier University of Louisiana from 2014-2021. He was named NAIA National Athletic Director of the Year in 2020 and the NACDA National Athletics Director the Year in 2021.
