The mission of Warner University is to graduate individuals who exemplify academic excellence and Christian character, who are prepared to lead and committed to serve.

Warner University’s liberal arts curriculum prepares students to successfully meet the demands of today’s workplace and the challenges of graduate school. Graduates emerge as servant leaders who evaluate issues from a Christian perspective while striving to live out their belief in their communities, churches and homes. The administration, faculty and staff are qualified in their areas of service, and dedicated to the ministry of higher education.

History: Warner University was founded in 1968 by the Church of God, Anderson, , as a liberal arts co- educational, Christian university. The campus was built on 300 acres was donated by Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Holland. The first commencement took place in 1972 with four graduates. Only two presidents have led Warner University. Dr. Leroy Fulton was the first president. Dr. Gregory V. Hall has led Warner as its second president since 1991.

ATHLETICS  Member of the o National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division-II in The o National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division-I  NAIA certified intercollegiate sports include: Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross-Country, Football, Golf, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field (indoor/outdoor), Volleyball and Sand Volleyball  The university also supports a Pep Band  Athletic participation for Fall 2014: 420 students (64% of traditionally enrolled students) are participating in at least one of the 21 sports offered at Warner

Rankings: The 2013 report from Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) comparing the success of 2011-12 graduates from bachelor level programs among the 31 member institutions shows Warner ranks #7 for percentage of employed graduates (66.5%).

Seniors participating in the 2013 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) were more satisfied with their entire educational experience at Warner than were seniors at other participating 4 year institutions (92% rated their entire educational experience was good or excellent at Warner University).

Advancement: The beautiful 49,000 sq. ft. Dr. H. Darrel Darby Academic Building opened for the Fall 2014 school year. The building features classrooms, lecture halls, computer and science laboratories with academic programs located in cohesive units. Faculty have offices and space to conduct projects and meet with students.

Warner will continue to grow with the groundbreaking of the new 38,000 sq. ft. Agriculture Complex in Spring 2015. This complex will include a livestock barn, equipment barn, greenhouse, classroom building, meeting pavilion, and administration building. Naming opportunities are still available.

Warner is 5 miles south of Lake Wales, in Polk County, Florida. The 300-acre campus is found on Highway 27. Lake Wales is a town of approximately 12,000 and equal distance from Orlando and Tampa.
