ow entering his 20th season at the helm of the Ospreys, Nhead coach Dusty Rhodes has guided the program from NAIA, to NCAA II, and most recently to NCAA Division I - all the while building UNF into a nationally recognized baseball powerhouse. Rhodes has compiled an 802- 332 record through 19 seasons, guiding UNF to 16 postseason appearances, including five World Series appearances, four district championships while in NAIA and six conference championships in NCAA Division II. In 2004, he topped the 1,000- win career mark, and now holds an all-time record of 1,106-449. He was named Coach of the Year in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005 and South Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in 2000, 2001 and 2005. rian Fleetwood returned to the University of North Florida baseball program this season after spending the last four seasons as a volun- Bteer assistant coach at the University of Florida in Gainesville. While at Florida, Fleetwood served as the Gators' first base coach and also helped instruct all players. His efforts assisted UF in advancing to NCAA Regionals during three of the four years of his tenure, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the 2005 NCAA and the 2005 Southeastern Conference championship. He also served as director of the University of Florida Baseball Camps for the past five summers. Fleetwood arrived at Florida after serving the 2001-02 season as a graduate assistant coach at UNF. He also helped manage and coordinate the Dusty Rhodes Baseball Camps from 1999-2001. Fleetwood played first base and outfield at UNF from 1997-2000. During his four-year varsity career, he helped lead the Ospreys to a 163- 69 record (.703), two Peach Belt Conference titles and a pair of top-five national finishes. As a senior in 2000, he started all 63 contests, totaled 61 runs batted in, smacked 10 home runs and capped off his campaign by playing in the NCAA Division II World Series in Montgomery, Ala. Fleetwood concluded his career as UNF's all-time career leader in games played (213), at bats (676), RBI (163) and home runs (36).
