Penanganan Kargo Udara IR – PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA BAB II GAMBARAN UMUM LOKASI PENELITIAN 2.1. Sejarah Perusahaan PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta atau biasa disingkat PT. JAS merupakan suatu perusahaan yang memiliki pelayanan jasa untuk penumpang dan bongkar muat kargo pada ruang lingkup Bandara. PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta merupakan salah satu anak perusahaan dari CAS Group (Cardig Aero Services) yang merupakan perusahaan induk tekemuka di Indonesia dalam pelayanannya di bidang jasa penunjang transportasi udara. PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta pertama kali berdiri pada tahun 1984. Kemudian perusahaan ini mulai beroperasional pertama kalinya di Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta yang berada di Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat. Kemudian perusahaan ini membuka beberapa cabang di beberapa bandara yang ada di Indonesia. Salah satunya pada bandar udara di kota Surabaya, perusahaan ini mulai beroperasi tanggal 1 Desember 1991 tepatnya di Bandara Internasional Juanda Surabaya. Perusahaan pelayanan bandara ini telah beroperasional selama lebih dari 30 tahun. Perusahaan ini berusaha untuk menyediakan pelayanan yang berkualitas kepada pelanggan sebagai komitmennya untuk menjadi pilihan terbaik dalam layanan kebandarudaraan. PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta telah berkembang menjadi salah satu perusahaan penanganan darat terbesar di Indonesia, diperkuat oleh 5 unit bisnis dan didukung oleh lebih dari 3.000 karyawan dengan dinamika pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Tidak hanya itu, anak perusahaan CAS Group ini juga memprioritaskan peran dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia sebagai salah satu prioritas utamanya. Adapun Visi dan Misi PT. Jasa Angkasa memiliki beberapa pelayanan jasa yang ditawarkan, berikut contohnya Cargo Services, Lounge and Priority Check In, VIP Charter Flight Handling, Airport Special Assistance (ASA), JAS Academy. 1. Cargo Services Pelayanan Bandara yang dilakukan PT. JAS selama bertahun-tahun dalam bisnis kargo udara, membantu membangun dan membentuk rekam jejak yang kuat. Beberapa fasilitas penting dalam bidang ini seperti gudang modern dapat ditemukan di 5 bandara utama di seluruh Indonesia, yaitu Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta dan Bandara Internasional Halim Perdanakusuma di Jakarta. 37 TUGAS AKHIR PENANGANAN KARGO UDARA... Gudang kargo PT. JAS dilengkapi dengan pusat layanan terpadu perlengkapan ramah lingkungan, dan fasilitas khusus untuk menangani barang yang mudah rusak, kargo yang rentan dan berharga, dan serta muatan - muatan yang tergolong barang berbahaya. Tidak hanya itu, pada bidang ini PT. Jas behasil menjalin relasi dengan beberapa cargo agent dengan total 150 unit usaha tersebut yang bekerja sama dengan PT. JAS. 2. Lounge and Priority Check In Layanan Bandara JAS juga memiliki lounge operations di Bandara Internasional Soekarno Hatta di Jakarta, Bandara Internasional Juanda di Surabaya, Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai di Denpasar Bali, dan Bandara Internasional Kertajati di Majalengka. Layanan Bandara JAS pada bidang ini juga merupakan yang pertama mengoperasikan Ruang Tunggu Prioritas (PCIL) di Indonesia tepatnya di Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta, mereka menyediakan fasilitas check-in dan imigrasi eksklusif untuk penumpang Kelas Satu dan Kelas Bisnis. Hingga saat ini layanan ini telah diperluas ke Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai di Denpasar Bali. Ada beberapa fasilitas yang disediakan di lounge atau ruang tunggu ini yaitu berupa penyajian aneka masakan internasional yang mewah dengan beragam pilihan minuman. Koneksi internet Wi-Fi, kamar mandi, pusat bisnis, ruang merokok bahkan pijat refleksi kaki yang dapat memanjakan dan memuasakan untuk para tamu yang menggunakan jasa ini. 38 TUGAS AKHIR PENANGANAN KARGO UDARA... VIP Charter Flight Handling Pada jasa ini layanan bandara JAS telah melayani banyak royalti, Kepala Negara, selebritas, dan berbagai kebutuhan VIP lainnya. Dalam mengurus kebutuhan khusus mereka dan menangani penerbangan mereka dengan lancar, JAS juga membantu dengan penerapan izin keamanan dan persetujuan penerbangan, yang diperlukan untuk pengoperasian penerbangan charter. 4. Airport Special Assistance (ASA) Jasa Airport Special Assistance atau ASA dalam bidang ini yaitu menyediakan bantuan class meet and greet di mana penumpang dapat memanfaatkan kenyamanan tambahan yang diberikan saat bepergian melalui terminal bandara pada saat kedatangan dan keberangkatan penumpang tersebut. Layanan tambahan yang disediakan oleh ASA juga mencakup transportasi kendaraan mewah dengan hiburan dalam perjalanan, pembaruan informasi penerbangan, layanan porter, dan akses lounge eksekutif. Dalam hal ini ASA telah menangani kurang lebih sekitar 54.000 penumpang yang menggunakan jasa tersebut. 39 TUGAS AKHIR PENANGANAN KARGO UDARA... JAS Academy Tidak hanya layanan produk atau jasa yang disebutkan diatas, tidak jauh dari kota Surabaya tepatnya di Kabupaten Sidoarjo juga terdapat program pelatihan atau training yang dirancang oleh PT. JAS bagi para lulusan baru yang tertarik dan minat dalam dunia layanan darat penerbangan. Program ini dirancang berupa pendidikan selama 4 bulan yang dibagi menjadi 2 pelatihan, yaitu in class training dan on the job training yang masing – masing kegiatan tersebut dilakukan selama 2 bulan dengan didampingi dan dilatih langsung oleh para instruktur atau praktisi profesional dari PT. JAS yang memiliki sertifikasi Kementrian Perhubungan. Ada beberapa program pelatihan yang ditawarkan contohnya, Aviation Security, Awareness Program, Dangerous Goods Type A/B, Ground and Cargo Handling, Ground Support Equipment. Pada program ini para peserta akan dilatih bagaimana cara penanganan ground handling, grooming, cargo handling, serta kepribadian diri yang baik dan komunikasi yang efektif dalam melayani pelanggan untuk mewujudkan profesionalisme dalam bekerja di bidang pelayanan kebandarudaraan tersebut. Program yang ditawarkan PT. JAS ini disebut Jas Academy yang kantornya berada di Learning Center JAS dengan alamat lokasi tepatnya di Ruko Perumahan Delta Sari Indah Blok AO No.08, Koreksari, Kureksari, Sidoarjo, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur 61256. In March, Korean Air tops the global OTP chart. A total of 395,500 aircraft movements were handled by Chinese airlines, showing an increase of 3.04 percent year-over-year. Korean Air takes the top spot in the global OTP chart with an on-time arrival rate of 97.40 percent. Shandong Airlines and China Express Airlines become the most punctual Chinese large and medium-sized airlines in Asia-Pacific region respectively.
