General Information
La Fundación Vía Verde de la Sierra se pone en marcha a inicios de 2000 como ente gestor de la antigua traza ferroviaria Jerez–Almargen, convertida por el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente en vía verde. Constituida por las diputaciones de Cádiz y Sevilla y los ayuntamientos de Coripe, El Coronil, Montellano, Olvera, Pruna y Puerto Serrano. Es el objeto fundamental de la Fundación la conservación, el mantenimiento y la gestión del uso del equipamiento de la Vía Verde de la Sierra, de acuerdo con lo fines esenciales del programa Tejido Verde.
