The proposed Opportunity Zone regulations were released in October 2018 for comment and a hearing held. Q: The current language does not address use of the Opportunity Zones program on tribal trust lands. Is this a program that the Community can utilize? President Martin Harvier: If you look at the Opportu- nity Zone map (see graphic), it designates the entire Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as an Opportunity Zone.
