It grew from 528,221 to 1,255,790 fans by mid BSB season. The milestone post received a warm welcome from the BSB community. We tweeted qualifying & racing results, as well as fun behind-the-scenes content, shot and edited using Samsung Galaxy devices. 2013 Twitter Stats 60+ tweets per race meet 1,500 tweets over the season Samsung Honda Social Media & Content Report 2013 11 BRAND AMBASSADORS We created brand ambassadors from general racing fans to professional photographers. Two examples: • Created a regular event called #SamsungHondaTakeOver in which fans send in images to takeover the teams Facebook profile cover-flow image • Set up twitter competitions allowing fans to win VIP tickets to race events as team guests.     WSBK Season 2016 Assen text: Philippa Keizer The ever popular World Superbikes Championship Series enters its 25th season and continues with 2 races per meeting. But there are important changes in the schedule for the WSBK race meetings this year: Superpole qualifying is on Saturday morning and race one early in the afternoon. Race two is on Sunday. Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano are in the Aruba.it Racing team on Ducati 1199 Panigale R. Xavi Forés is in the Barni Racing Team; Fabio Menghi is also to ride a Ducati; and in Australia Mike Jones rides a Duc with a wildcard. Matteo Baiocco joins the VFT Team from Thailand. Main competition is to be expected from champ Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes on Kawasaki; Michael van der Mark and Nicky Hayden on Honda; Sylvain Guintoli and Alex Lowes on Yamaha; Alex de Angelis and Lorenzo Savadori are on Aprilia and Leon Camier on MV Agusta. The season starts at Philip Island at the end of February, where the Aruba Ducati riders qualify well, in 2nd and 9th, and in race one join the lead group. Chaz Davies takes a second place, and in race two has a chance of victory, but slips off on the final lap. He still finishes the race in 10th place. David Giugliano takes to the podium in 2nd, after missing the podium in race one by 0,6 seconds. Jonathan Rea takes the double victory and Michael van der Mark is on the podium twice: 3rd and 2nd. In Thailand Davies takes 3rd place in race 2, and in Aragon, Spain, he takes a double victory.

    2018 Yamaha Motorsports Activities February 15, 2018—Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) is actively engaged in racing efforts all over the world in order to develop technologies and personnel under three main principles: raising the value of the Yamaha brand, acquiring advanced technologies and promoting the healthy spread of motorcycle racing. In MotoGP last season, Yamaha notched up its 500th Grand Prix victory since it began racing in the World Championship in 1961, with Maverick Viñales finishing the season in 3rd while Valentino Rossi was ranked 5th. Other achievements included the GMT94 Yamaha Official EWC Team lifting the Endurance World Championship (EWC) title at the series’ Suzuka 8 Hours finale, where the Yamaha Factory Racing Team also took victory for the third year in a row—a first for Yamaha. Starting in Asia since 2015, Yamaha has also continued its efforts to develop young riders by creating a tiered step-up structure with the goal of allowing aspiring riders, no matter where they are from, to make their way to the top of motorcycle racing. As a result, riders who showed promise in the All Japan Road Race Championship and the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) last season have begun entering European road racing categories, demonstrating steady forward progress. Under the three basic principles, Yamaha will once again engage in motorsports in 2018 with a global perspective, aiming to take numerous victories and communicate our “Revs your Heart” brand slogan.
