‘The Young and the Restless’ Leads Daytime Emmy Awards Nominations

With 25 bids, CBS' The Young and the Restless is at the front of the pack for the 2017 Daytime Emmy Award nominations.

CBS racked up a total of 70 nominations, including 23 for Bold and the Beautiful-which tied with ABC's General Hospital. NBC's Days of Our Lives also rounded out the Outstanding Drama Series category.

On the daytime talk show front, nominees included ABC's , CBS' , and syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Live with Kelly.

Harry Connick Jr.'s Harry and were also among those that received nods in the host category, along with Kelly Ripa of Live, and the hosts of' The Talk, The View and .

In the running for game show nominations are syndicated shows Celebrity Name Game, Family Feud and Jeopardy, along with CBS' The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences unveiled the nominations Wednesday on The Talk. The 44th Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2 a.m. - 6 p.m. during 2016.

The 2017 Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday, April 30, and the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be on April 28, both at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
