Mr, Danny Villa was awarded the title Mr, Gay Pride Week 1981 for obvious reasons for those of us who know him, and those who have come to know him. Mr, Villa has been in show business for 43 of his 47 years. He has had extensive train- ing in dance and has choreographed numerous productions within the community, donating his time and energy to these endeavors, most recently, The Zap Clap Revue. Danny is working in the recording studio at the moment, recording the se- cond album with the group Blue Wave. He is working with fellow musicians, Larry, Matt, Angel and Jim. Blue Waves' first album is called "Didn't You Go Far," (On sale in Houston at Record Rack, Wilde 'n' Stein Books and Record Exchange.) Danny is day-time bartender at the Different Drum, and will be producing, directing and per- forming in two major "motorcycle runs" this year, Lonestar IV and Rosebud. He will also put together another "Zap Clap Revue Show" to benefit the Montrose Clinic.
