cloudLibrary is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play App Store, and Kindle Fire.

GENERAL

 Install the cloudLibrary app using your device’s app store.  Once downloaded, tap on the cloudLibrary app Icon.  Select your country, state, and ’s name, and then tap Next.  Accept the Terms and Conditions.  Next, enter your library barcode number and PIN, and tap Login.  You will now be on the HOME tab. Under the HOME tab you will be able to access your virtual library card, see content you currently have on loan, view important messages from the library, and get other notifications.  To view your virtual library card, tap the Barcode Spinning Icon on the top right portion of the library card at the top of the screen.  On the bottom of the screen you will see these four main icons, also called tabs.

 HOME will always bring you back to your virtual library card. MY is where you will find all your current borrowed titles and holds. SEARCH is where you will be able to search for and audiobooks. ACCOUNT is where your personal information and settings will be.

MY BOOKS TAB  After tapping the MY BOOKS tab, you will see all the Current books you have on loan.  You are able to have 5 titles checked out at one time and up to 5 titles on hold at one time.

 To read a , tap the blue Read button under the title. o The book will then download. o You can turn the page by tapping on the right side of the screen or by swiping from right to left. o To access the controls tap on the top middle portion of the screen.

(iOS example) o Tap Aa to change the page brightness, font size, margin size, day or night mode, and lock rotation. Tap away from the drop down menu to exit. o Tap the Magnifying Glass to search within the book. Tap the X to exit this search feature. o Tap the Menu Dots to view the Table of contents, and Notes. o Tap the icon in the top right corner to bookmark the page you are on. o To make notes press and hold on the lines you would like to highlight and then drag the circles to what you would like to highlight. Then you can copy, highlight, or make a note about it. o You are also able to scroll through the book faster by tapping on the bottom middle portion on the screen and use the scroll feature to easily move from beginning to end. This is also the place where you will see what number and page number you are on. o To exit the book, tap on the top portion of the screen, and tap the X in the top left corner. To exit the book on Android, tap the Back Arrow in the top left corner. o To return the book tap the red Return button under the title, and then tap Ok.

 To listen to an audiobook, tap the blue Listen button under the title. o The audiobook will then download.

(iOS audiobook)

(Android audiobook) o To begin to listen to the audiobook tap the Triangle Play button. o To pause the audio tap the Pause Button. o You are able to track your progress through the audiobook with the progress bar line under the Play button. o Tap the Speed icon to adjust the speed of the narration. o Tap the Moon and ZZZ icon to set the sleep timer. o For iOS tap the Bookmark icon to bookmark the spot you just listened to, add a note about it, then tap Save in the top right corner. . For iOS tap the Menu Dots to access the Table of Contents and Bookmarks. o For Android tap the Bookmark icon and then Tap Create Bookmark to mark your spot. You will be able to find your bookmarks by tapping the same Bookmark icon. . For Android tap either Cover or Tracks to move around the title’s audio content. o To exit the audiobook tap the X in iOS and the Back Arrow in Android.

o To return the audiobook tap the red Return button under the title, and then tap Ok.  You can also filter the titles by content type, by tapping Funnel icon on iOS and the Three Line icon on Android.  Tap the Heart icon to favorite this title.  History, on the top of the screen, will display your loan history, including current loans and returns. You are able to sort and also clear your history by tapping Clear List.  Holds, on the top of the screen, will display all the titles you have on hold and the number of days until they are available. You can also remove a hold by tapping Remove Hold under the title.  Saved, on the top of the screen, acts like your wish list. It will display any title which has been Saved for Later. You are able to sort these titles by title and author.

SEARCH TAB  After tapping the main icon SEARCH you will be on the Featured tab. Featured displays new books and other popular titles the library is highlighting at the moment.  Audiobooks will have the Headphones icon on the cover image for each title, while eBooks will have no icon.  You are able to filter these collections by item type, availability, and language, by tapping the Funnel icon on iOS and the Three Line icon on Android, both in the top right corner.  To view a book’s details, simply tap the cover of the title you are interested in o Book Details will display the title’s description and author. o To borrow the title, tap the green Borrow button. o If the book is not available, the Borrow button will not be there, and instead tap

the blue Hold. o If you want to save the title for later, tap the orange Save for Later.

o To go back to your main search tap the Back Arrow in the top left corner.  Back on the main SEARCH screen, you will see Favorites at the top of the screen. This is where you can personalize what eBooks and audiobooks you see. o The first time you tap on the Favorites tab you will be prompted to set up your preferences, tap Let’s Go and select the types of books you want to see, then tap Next in the top right corner; then select the genres that interest you and tap Save in the top right corner. You can always edit these preferences later.  You can also filter your Favorites by tapping the Funnel icon on iOS and the Three Line icon on Android, both in the top right corner.  The All tab on the main SEARCH tab will show you everything listed by genre, but you can also select which genres and types of titles are displayed for you by filtering them as well.

 You are also able to search by tapping in the search bar at the top of the screen next to the Magnifying Glass. o To do simple searches just begin typing in the search bar. o For an advanced search tap into the search bar, and then tap Advanced Search and fill in the different criteria that you are looking for.

ACCOUNT TAB  After tapping the main icon ACCOUNT, you will be able to edit your personal information and set up your settings.

 Tap the word Edit in the top right corner for iOS or the Pencil icon on Android to change your account nickname, avatar icon, and color theme.  Tap Cards (or View Cards on Android) to view all the active virtual cards on the account. o Under Cards you are also able to add multiple cards from others in your family, so you never have to remember their barcode number as well. This also allows children in the family to use the same app and device as their parents, with the parents being able to parental lock the content their children can view. o Tap +Add New and complete the registration process for each person in the family. o Tap View Cards (or All Cards on Android) to manage all the cards in the app. o To switch library cards, tap Three Dot icon next to the account you would like to use, and then tap Use. o You are also able to lock a card with a password to keep other family members out of your library card and your space.  Tap Library Details for information about your library.  Tap Notifications to configure your notification settings.  Tap Cellular Data Usage to configure your cellular data settings.  Tap Reader eBook Settings to configure your reading settings.  Tap Analytics Data (or Anonymous Usage Data on Android) to opt out of sending anonymous usage data to Cloud Library.  Tap Help and Support for tutorials and FAQs, and an app tour guide.  Tap About for Copy Right information.  Tap Logout to log out of the app.
