Annie Sellick and Pat Bergeson are a duo far beyond the standard artistic measure. Jazz vocalist phenom, Annie Sellick teams up with her husband, master guitarist and renowned harmonica player, Pat Bergeson, to present a live performance not soon forgotten by any audience. With exquisite vocal capabilities, exceptional musicianship, body percussion and extraordinary stage presence, this pair comes together to more than double the wow factor of their performance as a duo. Annie is fully involved artistically, emotionally and physically in every performance and has graced stages around the globe in clubs, festivals, and theatres. She has received the high praises of Downbeat Magazine, Jazz Times and the LA times to name a few. Sellick has recorded with many luminaries including Joey DeFrancesco and Gerald Clayton. Pat Bergeson, at the request of Chet Atkins, made the move to Nashville to record and tour with Atkins and his legendary band. He is considered a diverse and talented guitarist, and is recognized worldwide as one of the finest harmonica players of our time. He co-wrote “Mountains Of Illinois” with Chet Atkins and “That Kind of Love” with Michael McDonald for Alison Krauss’ album “Forget About It”. He has performed and recorded with a long list of chart toppers and cult favorites including, Lyle Lovett, Madeline Peyroux and Dolly Parton, and on the most recent album by John Paul White (The Civil Wars). Annie and Pat together on stage cover an incredibly wide swath of music with rootsy cover songs, jazz standards, soulful originals and cabaret classics. They reach out to an equally wide audience base and have an incredibly fast growing population of fans and followers who leave their performances totally inspired by their high level of skill, confidence, ease and charm. You can have attitude, you can be dramatic, elastic or gymnastic-- but when you have that sound, you can just sing, and it's all there. You can dial in degrees of whatever else you want, but that's just icing on the cake. And it's the cake they call angel's or devil's food, right? A dozen or so albums into a charmed career, Suzy says she's just realizing she's actually the thread that ties it all together, not whether she's singing Country, or Swing, or Jazzy Pop. And the last of those is the place where Sweet Danger goes with assured poise. Though most of her fantastic work has been in the Country vein, her fans followed her when she cut the landmark Swing record with her old friend Ray Benson and past and present members of Asleep At The Wheel. It's a cinch that they will be along for the ride here to witness Suzy absolutely killing the great Beth Nielsen Chapman and Annie Roboff song "Right Back Into The Feeling," or the mindblowing cover of the Peter Cetera classic "If You Leave Me Now." Sometimes you don't really get how great a singer is until they come out of the bag that made them famous. We said jazzy pop, but at times it feels also like a really great soft rock album.

Although originally a session player in many bands, he has carved out his own style as a solo artist in recent years, releasing award-winning albums and singles. “Accomplice One”, which is produced by Tommy, is a 16-track collaboration album, with mix of new takes on indelible classics and brand-new originals from Tommy and his collaborators. “Deep River Blues” featuring Jason Isbell kicks off this release and what a cracker of a track it is. The former member of Drive By Truckers voice is a real foil to Tommy`s and it`s a real laid-back love in with both artists almost egging each other on. I could have sworn that the fellas were in the room with me, such was the relaxed performance of this offering. The wonderful American country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs is next to contribute with “Song And Dance Man.” He lends his mandolin and unmistakable voice to the song, which is a chronicle of a life lived for the next show. Simple but so effective. Jorma Kaukonen renowned from bands such as Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, joins Tommy with American guitarist, harmonica player and Chet Atkins session musician Pat Bergeson for the instrumental “Saturday Night Shuffle” this is what it says on the tin, a relaxed chilled out jam session.

Beginning at the University of Illinois in his home state, he moved on to New York City and picked up a Jazz Studies degree at William Patterson University. After playing in New York for ten years, he arrived in Nashville upon the request of Chet Atkins who heard Pat on a demo tape. Chet invited him to play on his album Sneakin' Around with Jerry Reed, and later featured Pat's guitar and compositions on his 1994 release Read My Licks. They were good friends and toured together for several years. A versatile guitarist as well as chromatic and diatonic harmonica player, Pat's style incorporates jazz, blues, rock and finger style and he is known for his session work with a variety of artists. He has been in the studio with Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Bill Frisell, Martin Taylor, Suzy Bogguss, Bill Evans, Peter Frampton, Michael McDonald and many others.
