POLICE FORCE PRESS RELEASE TRAFFIC FLOW GUIDELINES FOR THE SWEARING IN CEREMONY OF THE PRESIDENT ELECT – H.E. Y.K. MUSEVENI AT KOLOLO CEREMONIAL GROUNDS ON 12TH MAY 2016 The Swearing - in Ceremony of the President Elect, His Excellency Y.K. Museveni will be held on the 12th May 2016 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. Many Heads of State, Ambassadors, Local and Foreign dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony. This function will attract heavy traffic along -highway, the City centre and Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

The following Traffic guidelines should be adhered to by all motorists and other road users: • Members of Parliament who will use buses/Coasters will access the venue via John Babiha to Elgon Terrace and their vehicles will park at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds Heroes Corner. ENTEBBE HIGHWAY ◙ There will be traffic disruptions along Entebbe-Kampala highway from 10th to 13th May 2016. Traffic will be diverted to use alternative roads. will access the venue via John Babiha to Lower Kololo Terrace and they will be dropped off at Lower Kololo ◙ Motorists who use this highway regularly are advised to use the following alternative routes to avoid traffic Terrace/ Coral Crescent Junction and will access the venue as will be guided by Security and Protocol. Their disruptions during the days mentioned above; drivers will proceed to park at Hotel Africana, UMI, and Seven Trees Wampewo as follows:- ◙ Motorists heading to Entebbe from Kampala are advised to proceed to Busega Roundabout and join the new Entebbe Express highway up to Kitara junction. ◙ Parking at UMI will be accessed via Coral Crescent – Golf Course Road – and will cross to Kings African Rifle. ◙ Motorists heading to Kampala from Entebbe will be diverted at Kitara junction and will use the new Express highway up to Busega Roundabout. They can proceed to Kampala via the Northern Bypass or Nateete road. ◙ Parking at Hotel Africana will be accessed via Coral Cresent – Golf Course Road- and Wampewo Avenue. Other motorists will be diverted at to join the Express highway ◙ Parking at Seven Trees Wampewo will be accessed via Coral Cresent- Golf Course Road and Dundas Road. ◙ Other alternative roads for motorists using Entebbe-Kampala Highway include: • /Ssisa/Nateete • Guests with vehicles displaying BLUE STICKERS will access the venue via Archer Road.
